    However, a recent update on PlayStation’s official website has may have jumped the gun. A newly on the game’s page reveals that Monster Hunter Wilds update 2 is now confirmed to launch on June 30, bringing a wave of new content for hunters worldwide.

    Unexpected Monster Hunter Wilds Update 2 Release Date Leak

    Although the update was expected to be officially revealed during the upcoming Capcom Spotlight event on June 26, this early listing has given fans an advance look at what’s coming next. Capcom teased new content in the event, but the PlayStation page has already confirmed the release.

    Update 2 Expands Gameplay With Fresh Features

    The update 2 of Monster Hunter Wilds will bring back two fan-favorite monsters, including the iconic Lagiacrus , much to the delight of longtime players. Additionally, a powerful new Arch-Tempered monster, Uth Duna, will challenge hunters with its enhanced abilities in the Scarlet Forest.

    Beyond new monsters, the update introduces layered weapons—a customization feature allowing hunters to change their weapon’s appearance without affecting its stats or decorations, adding a fresh dimension to personal style and fashion hunting.
