PUBG Mobile Version 4.6 is rolling out from September 8 with a new vampire-themed mode called Midnight Hunters, alongside Classic Mode changes, PvE encounters, seasonal content and several upcoming collaborations. PUBG Mobile says the Version 4.6 content cycle will run through November 10, with additional events and modes arriving in stages rather than all at once.
Midnight Hunters is the centerpiece of the update, introducing a faction-based conflict between hunters and vampires across transformed areas of the map. Players can visit Vampire Hunter Guild locations, take on combat encounters and interact with the Nightkeeper, an AI character who can provide supplies, story details and additional rewards. A Hunter Shooting Range also offers score-based challenges, with better rewards available for stronger performances.
The mode introduces several new PvE enemies with different combat roles. Bloodwalkers focus on melee attacks, Nightbats use sonic-based abilities and the Vampire Elder can summon arcane orbs that strengthen nearby enemies. Elite variants can appear with protective shields and special finishing animations, adding another layer of danger beyond encounters with other players.
Midnight Hunters also adds themed tools that affect both combat and traversal. Twilight Bat Wings allow players to transform into an energy bat with hover, dash, latch and sonar abilities, while the Silvermoon Chain can be used to attack enemies, move around the environment or block incoming damage. Other items include the Blood Crystal Barrier for sealing windows, alongside Blood Pact, Hunter Bandage and Scarlet Tonic support items.
A separate limited-time feature called Bloodline Awakening lets eliminated players return as vampires and fight against the remaining hunters. Transformed players gain four abilities: Claw Attack for melee damage, Absorb for restoring health, Blood Sense for detecting nearby hunters and Blood Amberfication, which temporarily increases movement speed while making the player immune to damage. PUBG Mobile says Bloodline Awakening will be available every Friday through Sunday during September after the season update.
Classic Mode is also receiving several gameplay changes. Erangel now includes in-match missions involving recovering leftover combat supplies and hacking Supply Shops for Shop Tokens, while Supply Shops themselves have been redesigned with improved filtering and additional items. Weapon adjustments increase firing stability for the ACE32 and several 7.62mm firearms, including the AKM, M762, Honey Badger, Mk47 and Groza.
Traversal and looting have been expanded as well. New Channel Buoys can provide temporary safety in waters near Military Base, floating supply crates can be looted, and interactive lockers have been added inside certain buildings. The new Inflatable Boat is a portable four-seat vehicle whose speed increases as more passengers row, while Custom Garages can now spawn a Tracked Amphicarrier that can be activated using Shop Tokens.
Version 4.6 also sets up several pieces of content that will arrive later in the update cycle. Ocean Odyssey returns exclusively to Erangel on September 30, while a new Ranked Arena season runs from October 1 through October 29. Season 32 begins September 12 with refreshed tier rewards, updated Promotion Matches and new Path of Glory rewards, while Metro Royale Chapter 34 adds mutated vampire bases, Scream Crates and Golden Bat encounters.
The collaboration schedule is similarly spread across the coming weeks. Lincoln content begins September 10, One-Punch Man arrives September 20 and B.Duck joins on October 2. PUBG Mobile is also bringing back Alan Walker with the track “FATE,” which serves as Version 4.6’s theme song and will remain available in-game through November 10.
World of Wonder and Home Mode are getting seasonal updates of their own. Brainrot Royale receives a Halloweeks makeover with new collectible characters, themed environments, a Ghost Ship event and the Brainrot Wand, while Home Mode adds the Cyber Nexus style and the returning Home Competition. Feast of Shadows starts September 13, giving players a seeker-versus-specter activity with event-specific progression and rewards.
PUBG Mobile Version 4.6 is available from September 8, with the update’s vampire-themed Midnight Hunters content acting as the immediate headline feature. Other additions, including Ocean Odyssey, Ranked Arena, new collaborations and seasonal events, will roll out progressively through September, October and early November.
