Ironmouse is set to receive her own Fortnite Icon Series outfit, expanding a collaboration that previously brought the VTuber into the game as a Sprite. Fortnite dataminer FireMonkey says the outfit is based on Ironmouse’s Season 4 character design, while promotional material circulating ahead of the release has provided an early look at the cosmetic. With Ironmouse now operating independently, the addition appears to make her the first independent VTuber represented by an Icon Series outfit in Fortnite.
The crossover has been building publicly over the past several days rather than emerging solely from datamines. Ironmouse teased a new Fortnite collaboration on September 12, and Fortnite’s official account subsequently responded to the post, effectively acknowledging that more content involving the creator was on the way. Reports surrounding the collaboration place the Item Shop release on September 18, although Epic Games has yet to publish a full official blog detailing every cosmetic and its pricing.
FireMonkey says the main outfit takes inspiration from Ironmouse’s Season 4 model, one of the creator’s many redesigns used throughout her streaming career. Images associated with the upcoming collaboration also show cosmetics tied to her broader visual identity, including a microphone-themed item and pickaxe. Until Epic publishes the complete set, however, the precise bundle structure, individual prices and availability of additional styles should still be treated as unconfirmed.
Ironmouse already has a presence inside Fortnite through the Ironmouse Sprite introduced earlier this year. The Mythic Sprite briefly appeared ahead of schedule following a July update before being removed, with Ironmouse later explaining that it had released too early. It officially became available on August 4, the anniversary of her VTuber debut, giving players a small companion modeled after one of her earlier character designs rather than a wearable player outfit.
FireMonkey notes that the existing Sprite represents Ironmouse’s Season 3 appearance, while the upcoming Icon Series skin uses her Season 4 design. That gives Epic two distinct versions of the creator inside Fortnite rather than simply converting the existing Sprite directly into a character skin. Whether older Ironmouse designs eventually appear as selectable styles or separate cosmetics remains unknown, despite interest from fans following the first look at the outfit.
The Icon Series is Fortnite’s dedicated cosmetic line for prominent creators, musicians, athletes and other public figures. VTubers are not entirely new to the category: Kizuna AI received an Icon Series outfit in January 2026, while Hololive’s Hoshimachi Suisei followed in March. Ironmouse is different in that she has been operating as an independent creator since leaving VTuber agency VShojo in July 2025, making her upcoming appearance a notable expansion of the types of virtual creators Epic is bringing into the series.
The timing also places Ironmouse amid an unusually busy period for Fortnite collaborations. Epic is preparing a Kingdom Hearts crossover featuring Sora and other characters immediately before Ironmouse’s reported September 18 arrival, while recent Item Shop data has also pointed to returning and new creator cosmetics. Fortnite’s ongoing Icon Series rotations have included figures such as Loserfruit and Lachlan, with streamed shop assets recently revealing additional Icon Series content ahead of its scheduled rotation.
Ironmouse first debuted as a VTuber in 2017 and became one of the most prominent English-language virtual streamers during her years with VShojo. She left the agency in 2025 and has since continued her career independently, making the Fortnite Icon Series collaboration particularly significant within the VTuber community. Epic has not yet released a complete official announcement for the September 18 set, but the creator’s teaser, Fortnite’s public response and the newly surfaced cosmetic material leave little doubt that a larger Ironmouse crossover is imminent.
