Microsoft and T-Mobile have announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Premium will become available through select US wireless plans starting in November 2026. The partnership introduces Xbox’s gaming subscription service as a selectable benefit within T-Mobile’s new T-Mix program, marking the first time Game Pass has been offered through a wireless plan in the United States.
The announcement was confirmed by both companies on October 26. Eligible T-Mobile customers will be able to select either Game Pass tier through T-Mix, gaining access to a library of games across supported devices, including Xbox consoles, Windows PCs and compatible smart TVs.
T-Mix introduces a flexible benefits system called Picks, allowing subscribers to choose which services are included with their wireless plans. Rather than receiving a fixed collection of subscriptions, customers can allocate their available Picks toward gaming, streaming, music and other services.

T-Mobile has announced three T-Mix plans for November:
T-Mix Standard starts at $55 per month for one line and includes one Pick. T-Mix More starts at $75 per month with two Picks, while T-Mix Loaded starts at $95 per month with three Picks. These prices require AutoPay and exclude taxes and fees.
Game Pass is among several participating services, alongside Netflix, YouTube Premium, Apple Music, Paramount+ and other subscription benefits. However, the companies’ announcements do not specify how many Picks each Game Pass tier requires or exactly which T-Mix plans will qualify for Ultimate and Premium.
Customers will also be able to modify their selected partner benefits during three scheduled change windows and an annual selection window. Certain benefits may require longer commitments, and changes outside permitted windows can incur additional fees.
For gamers, the partnership creates another way to access Microsoft’s subscription library without purchasing Game Pass separately. The available experience will depend on the selected subscription tier and supported device.
Game Pass Ultimate provides Microsoft’s higher-tier subscription experience, including access to console and PC games and cloud gaming on supported devices. Premium offers a different selection of subscription features and games. Customers considering the T-Mobile benefit will need to compare the two tiers before choosing.
The announcement arrives as Microsoft continues expanding the Game Pass catalog. The October 2026 Wave 2 lineup includes Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and several other additions, providing more titles for subscribers across eligible tiers.
Microsoft has also been developing additional ways for players to access Xbox games without traditional console hardware, including pay-as-you-go Xbox Cloud Gaming options being tested with Xbox Insiders.
T-Mobile says its T-Mix plans will also be offered at discounted rates to eligible customers aged 55 and older, military personnel, veterans, first responders and college students.
An exact November launch date for the Game Pass benefit has not been announced. Availability will depend on T-Mix eligibility and the number of Picks required for the selected subscription tier.
T-Mobile also advises customers with existing subscriptions to manage those accounts carefully to avoid duplicate charges when choosing benefits through T-Mix. The new arrangement provides an additional subscription option for US Xbox players, although its value compared with a standalone Game Pass membership will depend on the customer’s wireless plan and selected benefits.
