ZA/UM has confirmed that ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut will launch on Xbox Series X|S on November 3, 2026, alongside the previously announced PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions. The announcement came during the October 20 ID@Xbox showcase, where the developer revealed the Xbox release through a new trailer.
The Xbox version will include the complete Director’s Cut experience from launch, bringing approximately 40,000 additional words of writing, a new Dramatic Encounter, Backstage Mode, expanded voice acting and various gameplay improvements. Microsoft also confirmed that the game will be available through Xbox on PC on November 3.
The announcement expands the game’s console lineup following its original PC release in May 2026. ZA/UM subsequently introduced the Director's Cut update and November 3 PS5 release date, with the expanded edition arriving on PC as a free upgrade for existing owners on October 1.

The Director’s Cut introduces a new Dramatic Encounter called Quisach Roundabout, featuring protagonist Hershel Wilk and her former friend Ramses. The sequence follows the pair as they attempt to escape a roundabout while driving a hijacked tuk-tuk under the influence of drugs.
Another addition is Backstage Mode, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at the game’s development. Players can explore earlier versions of selected environments, examine cut content and hear development stories narrated by ZA/UM art director Kaspar Tamsalu.
The expanded edition also includes new outfits, revised and completed English voice acting, interface improvements and additional accessibility features. Quality-of-life changes include improved inventory management, while the PC edition supports ultrawide displays with 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios.
ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies is a narrative-focused espionage RPG from the studio behind Disco Elysium. Players control Hershel Wilk, a troubled intelligence operative known as CASCADE, who returns to the field five years after a disastrous mission.
The game emphasizes dialogue, psychological pressures and decisions shaped by dice rolls. Its Conditioning system allows players to develop Hershel’s thoughts and abilities, while mechanics involving Fatigue, Anxiety and Delirium influence how she handles dangerous situations.
With the Xbox announcement, ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut is now scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day, November 3. PC players can already access the expanded edition, while console players will receive its additional story content and improvements as part of their initial release.
