Fortnite may be bringing Chapter 2 Remix Battle Pass cosmetics back to the Item Shop on September 4 alongside the Porsche 911 Turbo. Dataminer FireMonkey reports that Fortnite Remix Battle Pass shop bundles and the Porsche vehicle are scheduled for release on that date. Epic Games has not publicly announced the shop rotation, so the September 4 timing should still be treated as datamined information rather than an official confirmation.
The Remix cosmetics returning would be notable because Chapter 2 Remix was one of the first Battle Passes released after Epic changed its exclusivity policy. Epic announced in August 2024 that items from future Battle Passes could appear in the Fortnite Shop at least 18 months after their respective passes expired. The company has also made clear that eligibility does not guarantee an item will return, with individual shop selections still determined separately.
FireMonkey recently reported that cosmetics from both the Fortnite Remix Battle Pass and the Chapter 6 Season 1 Hunters Battle Pass had become eligible for Item Shop sales. For Remix, that pool includes outfits such as Chaos Director, 1-Ball, Undercover Skye, Meowdas and Dynamo TNTina. The original Remix Pass launched in November 2024 and contained more than 70 rewards built around remixed versions of familiar Chapter 2 characters.
Exactly which Remix cosmetics will be included in the September 4 bundles has not yet been confirmed. Battle Pass items can return with different selections of alternate styles, and Epic’s policy allows individual rewards to be sold separately or packaged differently from how they originally appeared in the pass. That means players should not assume every Remix reward or every style will immediately become purchasable.
The possible return also comes just as Fortnite has moved into the v42.10 update and OG Season X, giving Epic another nostalgia-focused shop rotation alongside its current content. A datamined OG Season X Discovery banner had already pointed toward the September 3 rollout before that update arrived. Bringing Remix-era cosmetics back one day later would continue the game’s recent emphasis on older Fortnite material alongside new seasonal content.
The Porsche 911 Turbo is the other major item mentioned in FireMonkey’s September 4 scheduling information. The car has already been added to Fortnite’s files, and Epic’s own support pages acknowledge that players who own the Porsche 911 Turbo in Rocket League have encountered an issue where the vehicle does not appear in their Fortnite Locker. That support notice effectively confirms Fortnite compatibility for the car even though Epic has not yet published a dedicated Item Shop announcement for its wider release.
Cross-game ownership is especially relevant because Fortnite and Rocket League now share a growing selection of compatible car bodies and cosmetic items through linked Epic accounts. Players who already own supported vehicles in Rocket League can generally receive their Fortnite equivalents once cross-game support is enabled. Epic’s current support notice indicates that the Porsche 911 Turbo is intended to work through that system, although the company is still investigating missing grants for some owners.
FireMonkey’s leak therefore combines two different forms of returning content: Battle Pass cosmetics becoming purchasable under Epic’s newer exclusivity rules and a licensed vehicle expanding Fortnite’s cross-game garage. Neither the Remix bundle composition nor the Porsche’s Fortnite price has been officially detailed yet. It is also unclear whether the Porsche will receive multiple styles or a larger bundle with additional automotive cosmetics.
Epic has increasingly used the Item Shop to cycle older Battle Pass rewards back into circulation where its revised policy permits it. Current Battle Pass pages explicitly state that eligible rewards may appear in the Shop 18 months or more after expiration, while noting that alternate styles can vary between appearances. The Remix cosmetics would therefore not represent a reversal of Battle Pass exclusivity, but rather the intended implementation of the policy Epic introduced two years ago.
If FireMonkey’s scheduling information is accurate, the Fortnite Remix Battle Pass bundles and Porsche 911 Turbo should appear with the September 4 shop rotation. Until Epic updates the live shop or publishes an official announcement, the exact bundle contents, prices and included styles remain unconfirmed.
