Nintendo and The LEGO Group have revealed LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – Link & Epona, a new 1,750-piece display model launching in spring 2027. The set was shown during the Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct on September 8, where Nintendo outlined several products and events planned for the series’ anniversary. Pricing and a specific release date have not yet been announced.
The model depicts the adult version of Link riding Epona, recreating one of the most recognizable elements of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Link is shown carrying the Master Sword and Hylian Shield while Epona rears up beneath him, with the entire build designed as a large collectible display piece rather than a conventional minifigure-scale playset. Nintendo describes it as a 1,750-piece model intended for adults.
The set also continues LEGO’s growing focus on Ocarina of Time. The first LEGO Zelda release was the 2,500-piece Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set from 2024, which could be assembled in either an Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild configuration. That was followed in March 2026 by Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle, a 1,003-piece set recreating Link and Zelda’s confrontation with Ganon at the end of the Nintendo 64 game.
Link & Epona therefore becomes the third major LEGO set based on The Legend of Zelda and the second 2026-announced model centered specifically on Ocarina of Time. Its larger sculptural approach also makes it noticeably different from The Final Battle, which used minifigures and a diorama-style environment. LEGO has not yet published a full product listing detailing the model’s dimensions, display functions or price.
The timing coincides with Nintendo placing Ocarina of Time at the center of its 40th anniversary plans. The company has confirmed that the Ocarina of Time remake launches November 5 on Nintendo Switch 2, bringing the 1998 adventure back with rebuilt visuals and new gameplay features. The Link and Epona model uses the same iconic incarnation of the hero and his horse that has become closely associated with that game.
Epona was introduced in Ocarina of Time as Link’s horse at Lon Lon Ranch and becomes available to ride after Link returns to the ranch as an adult. Horseback travel was one of the Nintendo 64 game’s defining additions to the series, with Epona later returning in other Zelda titles and becoming one of Link’s most recognizable companions. The new LEGO model focuses entirely on that pairing rather than recreating a specific dungeon or battle.
Nintendo’s anniversary Direct included several other non-game announcements alongside the LEGO reveal. A worldwide Zelda 40th Anniversary Concert tour is planned for 2027, while Nintendo Museum activities, collectible figures, musical products and other licensed merchandise are also being introduced as part of the celebration. A Hasbro electronic Master Sword is likewise scheduled for spring 2027, placing it in the same general release window as the Link & Epona set.
The LEGO collaboration has expanded relatively slowly compared with Nintendo’s much larger Super Mario line. Zelda did not receive its first official LEGO set until 2024, but the arrival of a third model within roughly three years suggests the partnership is becoming more established. All three releases have so far concentrated heavily on Ocarina of Time, although the Great Deku Tree set also incorporated Breath of the Wild.
LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – Link & Epona is scheduled for spring 2027 and contains 1,750 pieces. Nintendo and LEGO have not yet announced its price, exact launch date or full specifications. More product details are expected closer to release.
