Samsung’s unannounced Galaxy A18 4G has appeared in another detailed leak, with new information covering its hardware configuration and expected pricing in France. The latest details come from Dealabs investigator billbil-kun, who says data obtained for the French market differs from some specifications and prices reported earlier this month. Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy A18 4G, so the information should still be treated as pre-release material.

The report points to a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display operating at 90Hz, keeping the same basic screen format associated with Samsung’s recent lower-cost Galaxy A models. The Galaxy A18 4G is again listed with MediaTek’s Helio G99 processor, a chipset that has also appeared in benchmark data tied to the SM-A185-series device. Earlier Geekbench results similarly showed a Helio G99-equipped Galaxy A18 running Android 17, strengthening the evidence that Samsung is retaining the MediaTek platform for its LTE model.

Memory information is one area where the latest data appears to differ from earlier reports. Initial leaks commonly described the Galaxy A18 4G with 4GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage, while billbil-kun’s French-market information points to a 6GB RAM configuration paired with 128GB of storage. That discrepancy could reflect regional variants rather than one of the leaks necessarily being incorrect, as Samsung frequently sells different memory configurations depending on the market.

The camera setup is expected to remain familiar. Previous information for the Galaxy A18 4G has consistently pointed to a 50-megapixel main rear camera accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro camera, while the front camera is expected to use a 13-megapixel sensor. A 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging has also appeared repeatedly across leaks, suggesting Samsung is making relatively conservative changes to the core hardware compared with the Galaxy A17 4G.

Design leaks have reinforced that approach. CAD-based renders published earlier in the year showed a phone closely resembling its predecessor, including a waterdrop-style display notch, vertically arranged rear cameras and Samsung’s raised “Key Island” section around the side buttons. The Galaxy A18 4G has been associated with dimensions of roughly 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.7mm and a weight of around 193 grams, while an IP64 dust and water-resistance rating has also been reported.

Pricing is the most notable point of disagreement between the latest information and previous leaks. Reports circulating in early September claimed the Galaxy A18 4G could start at €299 in Europe, which would represent a substantial increase over the previous generation. billbil-kun’s newer French-market data instead points to a price around €199 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, putting the phone much closer to the territory traditionally occupied by Samsung’s entry-level A1x series.

That lower figure would significantly change the Galaxy A18 4G’s positioning if accurate. A €299 starting price would put the handset against considerably stronger mid-range competition despite its older Helio G99 processor, while a price closer to €199 would better match the modest year-over-year hardware changes indicated by the leaks. Regional pricing and promotional launch offers could still complicate direct comparisons, however, and Samsung has yet to publish an official recommended retail price.

Evidence that the Galaxy A18 4G is approaching release has continued to accumulate independently of the latest leak. Samsung support pages carrying the SM-A185F model number have appeared on several of the company’s regional websites, while test firmware and database entries for the device have surfaced over recent months. Those listings provide stronger evidence that the handset itself is real, even though they do not confirm the leaked retail specifications or French pricing.

Samsung has not announced a launch date for the Galaxy A18 4G or confirmed which configurations will be sold in France and other European markets. With support infrastructure already appearing online and increasingly specific retail information now circulating, an official unveiling appears to be getting closer. Until then, the reported €199 price and 6GB RAM configuration remain leaked details rather than confirmed Samsung specifications.
