Fortnite’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration has received a new trailer showing Lucy in-game and giving another look at the crossover content coming to Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. The footage surfaced on September 16 through prominent Fortnite accounts including HYPEX and ShiinaBR, following the collaboration’s official reveal by the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners account earlier this month. Epic Games had already confirmed Edgerunners as one of the gaming collaborations planned for the current season.

Lucy remains the centerpiece of the crossover. Her Fortnite appearance recreates the netrunner’s design from the anime, including her distinctive multicolored hair, white jacket and black bodysuit, translated into Fortnite’s stylized character model. The first official look at Lucy’s Fortnite Outfit appeared in an earlier teaser, while the newer footage provides a broader look at how the collaboration is being presented in-game.

Rebecca’s Guns also feature prominently as part of the crossover. Epic first referenced the weapons in its Chapter 7 Season 4 announcement, confirming that they would arrive later during Override, before subsequent footage tied them directly to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The weapon uses Rebecca’s arsenal as its inspiration and has previously been shown as a dual-wield setup, although Epic has not published final statistics or a complete gameplay breakdown.

Datamined information has gone further, suggesting an Exotic version could combine different weapon behaviors including ricocheting fire and explosive projectiles. Those details remain subject to change until the item is actually enabled in the live game, however. A separate leak detailing Rebecca’s Exotic weapon previously outlined those possible mechanics based on Fortnite data rather than an official final specification.

The collaboration fits directly into Override’s wider focus on gaming franchises. Epic announced Cyberpunk: Edgerunners alongside properties including Kingdom Hearts, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Persona 5 Royal and others when the season launched in August. Fortnite has been steadily rolling those collaborations out throughout the season, with new cosmetics, weapons and gameplay elements appearing rather than every crossover launching simultaneously.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is also expected to affect Fortnite beyond the Item Shop. Earlier datamining pointed to Edgerunners-related content appearing in Blitz Royale, potentially alongside Rebecca’s Guns and additional Cyberpunk equipment. The reported Edgerunners Blitz Royale update has not been fully detailed by Epic, so leaked gameplay additions should still be separated from what the company has formally announced.

One item repeatedly associated with the crossover through leaks is the Monowire, the cyberware weapon familiar from Cyberpunk 2077. Dataminers have suggested it may function as both a melee tool and a mobility item, but Epic has not publicly provided final mechanics. Its presence in unfinished data does not guarantee that every reported feature will arrive alongside Lucy or Rebecca’s Guns.

Epic’s original Override announcement is much clearer on the broader collaboration itself. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was explicitly named among the season’s upcoming Shop franchises, while Rebecca’s Guns were separately listed as future Battle Royale content. That first-party confirmation means the crossover is no longer speculative even though individual release timing and some of its mechanics have continued to emerge through teasers and datamines.

The collaboration follows Fortnite’s earlier Cyberpunk 2077 crossover, which brought V and Johnny Silverhand to the Item Shop in December 2024. Edgerunners expands that relationship into the anime side of the franchise rather than simply adding another wave of characters from CD Projekt Red’s RPG.

Epic Games has not yet published complete pricing or bundle information for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners cosmetics. A precise Item Shop launch date also remains unconfirmed through Epic’s main Fortnite channels at the time of writing, despite leaks surrounding the September update. The new trailer nevertheless provides the clearest presentation yet of Lucy and the Edgerunners content as Fortnite prepares to move the collaboration from seasonal teasers into the live game.
