Fortnite’s upcoming Persona 5 Royal crossover reportedly includes two main Outfits, with new v42.20 data pointing to Joker and Ann Takamaki as the playable skins. Fortnite leaker HYPEX says both characters have alternate styles and options to toggle their masks, while the wider collaboration contains Back Blings, Pickaxes, Emotes, Wraps and other cosmetics. Epic Games has officially confirmed Persona 5 Royal content for Chapter 7 Season 4, but it has not publicly detailed this cosmetic lineup.
According to the leaked data, Joker has an alternate style internally codenamed “Goth,” although that is not necessarily the name players will see in the Item Shop. His mask can reportedly be switched on or off, while associated cosmetics include a Back Bling, Pickaxe, Emote, Wrap, Kicks, Guitar and Emoticon. HYPEX’s findings therefore suggest Joker will receive one of the more extensive individual cosmetic sets in the collaboration.
Ann Takamaki, also known as Panther within the Phantom Thieves, reportedly has an alternate style carrying the internal codename “Berth.” Like Joker, her mask can apparently be toggled, and her set is said to include a Back Bling, Pickaxe, Emote, microphone instrument and Wrap. Ann’s inclusion had already been indicated by a Persona 5 vehicle decal linked to Ann Takamaki, but the new data provides much stronger evidence that she will receive a full playable Outfit.
The broader set reportedly consists of two skins, one Sidekick, two Back Blings, two Emotes, one Emoticon, two Pickaxes, two Wraps and one vehicle. Earlier leaks had suggested that the crossover might contain more playable Persona characters, but the current v42.20 findings point specifically to Joker and Ann as the two Outfits present in this wave. That does not rule out additional characters appearing later, though no evidence currently confirms another set of skins.
Morgana remains closely connected to the collaboration as well. Previous leaks have pointed to both a Morgana-themed vehicle and a companion role, while newly surfaced Persona 5 decals reportedly include Joker and Panther variants for the upcoming vehicle. The final Item Shop structure, individual prices and possible bundles have not yet been revealed.
Persona 5 Royal is already one of the gaming collaborations officially announced for Fortnite’s Override season. Epic named the Atlus RPG alongside Kingdom Hearts, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and other properties when Chapter 7 Season 4 launched in August. The company has not yet announced a public release date for the Persona cosmetics.
The crossover is also expected to extend beyond the Item Shop. Fortnite v42.20 data reportedly contains a Persona 5-themed Match Override, indicating that the collaboration will interact with the season’s gameplay systems rather than existing solely as character cosmetics. Earlier leaks have also connected Persona to Sprites and other Override content.
The scale of Joker’s leaked set is particularly notable because it covers several of Fortnite’s newer cosmetic categories in addition to the traditional Outfit, Pickaxe and Back Bling combination. Kicks and a Festival-compatible Guitar are reportedly attached to his set, while Ann receives a microphone instrument. That would give the collaboration visibility across multiple Fortnite experiences rather than limiting it to Battle Royale.
None of the internal codenames should be assumed to represent final cosmetic names. Fortnite development files frequently use placeholder or project identifiers that are replaced before release, so “Goth” and “Berth” are best treated only as identifiers found in the data. Likewise, Epic could still alter the contents of bundles or withhold individual items before they become available.
The new leak substantially narrows the expected Persona 5 Royal lineup after weeks of speculation about which Phantom Thieves would appear. Joker had long been expected as the crossover’s centerpiece, while Ann’s presence became increasingly likely as vehicle data surfaced. The v42.20 findings now indicate that the pair will lead the cosmetic release, with both receiving alternate styles, mask options and dedicated accessory sets.
Epic Games has yet to reveal the Persona 5 Royal cosmetics publicly or confirm when they will enter Fortnite’s Item Shop. Until that happens, the exact names, prices and bundle arrangements remain unconfirmed, but the latest datamine provides the clearest picture yet of what the crossover is expected to include.
