Rockstar Games has officially announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, confirming a 34-track collection of original music launching alongside GTA VI on November 19, 2026. The reveal follows several days of coordinated music-related teasers from artists associated with Rockstar’s campaign, while six songs from the album have now been publicly identified. Rockstar describes the project as a collection designed around the energy of Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.
The first wave includes Yung Lean’s “That’s It” featuring Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott’s “RHYNO,” CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso’s “Sexy Magic” with PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need,” Rauw Alejandro’s “Macacoa 2000,” and Keith Richards’ “Bright Lights, Big City.” Rockstar has not yet revealed the remaining 28 tracks. The artists already announced span hip-hop, electronic music, Latin music, country and rock, matching the company’s description of the album as genre-spanning.
“RHYNO” is also notable for its production credit, with former Daft Punk member Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo producing Travis Scott’s contribution. Scott had been at the center of recent speculation about a GTA VI music collaboration after appearing in Rockstar-linked promotional activity with several other musicians. The album announcement now confirms that his involvement extends directly to an original song made for the project.

The rollout had been building visibly before Rockstar’s confirmation. GTA VI and Spotify billboards appeared across major US cities including Los Angeles, Miami and New York, while musicians shared coordinated imagery tied to the campaign. What initially looked like a broader music marketing push can now be connected directly to Rockstar’s dedicated GTA VI album.
The album is separate from GTA VI’s full in-game radio soundtrack. Rockstar says the 34 tracks are original songs associated with Grand Theft Auto VI, while the game’s radio stations are still expected to contain additional licensed music. That distinction means the album should not be treated as the complete list of songs players will hear while driving through Vice City and Leonida.
Rockstar is also releasing the album physically. A double-vinyl edition is available for pre-order, with two transparent magenta records featuring blue splatter and new GTA VI artwork. The standard vinyl edition is priced at $49.98 and is currently listed to ship on November 20, one day after the game and digital album launch.
The announcement also confirms that Rockstar is treating music as a standalone part of GTA VI’s wider launch rather than simply revealing radio stations closer to release. The Grand Theft Auto series has a long history of using licensed radio music alongside original compositions, while GTA V also received multiple official soundtrack releases. GTA VI’s 34-song original album is considerably larger than a conventional handful of promotional singles and suggests Rockstar has commissioned a substantial amount of music specifically for the new game.
Only six artists and songs have been disclosed so far, leaving most of the album’s lineup unrevealed. Rockstar has not provided a date for the complete tracklist, nor has it detailed how the album’s songs will appear inside GTA VI. Some could feature on radio stations, during missions or elsewhere in the game’s world, but those placements remain unconfirmed.
Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album arriving the same day. With six songs now revealed and 28 still under wraps, Rockstar’s music campaign is likely to continue revealing artists as the game approaches release.
