Fortnite is reportedly preparing to bring back both Sabrina Carpenter’s former Music Pass Outfit and Disney’s Hero Baymax later in the current update. Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR says both cosmetics are set to return for the first time since originally being tied to their respective passes, although Epic Games has not yet announced an exact Item Shop date or pricing. The development is notable because both characters were originally obtained through limited-time progression systems rather than standard shop purchases.

Sabrina Carpenter’s first Fortnite Outfit debuted through the Season 8 Music Pass in April 2025. Epic’s original Festival announcement confirmed that purchasing the premium Music Pass immediately unlocked the yellow Sabrina Carpenter Outfit, with an additional bodysuit Style available later in the pass. Epic also explicitly stated at the time that Music Pass rewards were not exclusive and could become purchasable in the Fortnite Shop at a later date.

That Outfit is separate from the Tour-Ready Sabrina Carpenter skin, which was sold directly through the Item Shop during Festival Season 8 and has returned since. The reported comeback instead concerns the pass-based Sabrina Carpenter Outfit, making it a different release from her regularly purchasable cosmetics. A previous leak already pointed to the Music Pass Sabrina Outfit being prepared for the Shop, and the latest information now places that return within the current update.

Hero Baymax has a similar history but comes from Fortnite’s main Battle Pass rather than Festival. The Disney character was one of the premium Outfits in Chapter 6 Season 1: Hunters, which ran from December 2024 until February 21, 2025. Epic’s official Battle Pass lineup placed Baymax alongside Nyanja, Jade, Kendo, Daigo, Shadow Blade Hope and The Night Rose, with Godzilla Evolved later available through Battle Pass quests.

Baymax’s potential return is possible because Chapter 6 Season 1 launched after Epic changed how exclusivity works for future Battle Pass rewards. Under the policy introduced in August 2024, items from newer Battle Passes may be sold through the Fortnite Shop once at least 18 months have passed since the relevant pass expired. Epic stresses that eligibility does not guarantee a return, but Chapter 6 Season 1 items have already been linked to upcoming Shop availability as that eligibility window has opened.

The distinction is important because older Fortnite Battle Pass cosmetics generally remain associated with the exclusivity rules that existed when they launched. Epic’s newer policy applies to passes released after the August 2024 change and was specifically introduced to allow more players to access popular licensed characters later. Hero Baymax is therefore among the first major licensed Battle Pass characters positioned to demonstrate how that newer system works in practice.

Fortnite has already begun bringing newer pass-linked cosmetics back through the Shop under its evolving approach to item availability. Several Chapter 2 Remix cosmetics have recently returned, showing that Epic is actively using Shop rotations for content that was previously earned through newer passes. The return of Chapter 2 Remix Battle Pass skins also provides a recent example of how these rereleases can be priced and separated from their original pass structures.

Neither the Sabrina Carpenter nor Hero Baymax return has an officially confirmed Shop date yet. Their V-Bucks prices, included Styles and any accompanying bundles also remain unknown, and those details may not become clear until Epic activates the offers. ShiinaBR’s report only places both returns later in the current update.

If the listings go live as reported, Sabrina Carpenter and Hero Baymax will each be making their first post-pass appearance. For Sabrina, that would fulfill Epic’s original statement that Music Pass rewards could later become Shop items, while Baymax would be one of the more recognizable examples of Fortnite’s newer non-exclusive Battle Pass policy being put into practice.
