AYANEO has provided new shipping updates for three of its retro gaming handhelds, confirming that the Pocket Micro 2 has been delayed until early November 2026. Meanwhile, approximately 90% of KONKR Pocket Advance preorders have shipped, and KONKR Pocket Block deliveries are scheduled to begin during the week of October 19.
The revised timelines were communicated by AYANEO in an email to backers and previous customers. The update outlines progress on existing orders, upcoming production batches, and a component supply issue affecting the Pocket Micro 2.
The Pocket Micro 2 was previously expected to begin shipping its latest production batch by the end of October. However, AYANEO says its controller supplier delivered required components approximately one week later than expected, disrupting the manufacturing schedule.

As a result, shipments have been pushed into early November. Customers placing new orders over the coming weeks are expected to have their devices shipped around mid-November.
The delay affects a handheld that has already experienced availability problems. AYANEO initially released the Pocket Micro 2 in June 2026, with its limited first production run selling out within 10 minutes. The company subsequently opened another preorder round in July, targeting late October for fulfilment.
AYANEO previously attributed its conservative initial production strategy partly to rising prices for storage chips and other essential components. The latest delay, however, is specifically linked to the late arrival of controller components rather than a newly reported storage shortage.
Progress is more encouraging for the KONKR Pocket Advance. AYANEO says approximately 90% of all preorders have now shipped, leaving a smaller number of outstanding orders.
Many of those remaining orders involve the Onyx Ice colour option, which was already expected to ship later than other configurations. The manufacturer says its production team is also preparing additional batches of the handheld.
The KONKR Pocket Block is approaching its first shipping window, with AYANEO targeting October 19–23 for dispatches to begin. The company also expects new orders placed during that period to ship before the end of October.
These dates represent AYANEO’s current manufacturing and dispatch targets rather than guaranteed customer delivery dates. Actual arrival times will depend on order processing and shipping arrangements.
For Pocket Advance customers, the latest figures indicate that most existing orders have already entered the shipping process. Pocket Block buyers can expect dispatches to start shortly, while customers awaiting the next Pocket Micro 2 production batch face an additional delay of approximately one week or more.
AYANEO has not provided a more specific November shipping date for the Pocket Micro 2.
