Bloody Hell Hotel will launch for PC via Steam in 2027, with developer Unfold Games confirming that the vampire-themed hotel management simulator will skip Early Access and release directly as version 1.0. The revised launch plan was announced on October 21, 2026, alongside a new gameplay trailer.
Unfold Games explained that additional funding from publisher Gambit Digital has made it possible to complete development without relying on Early Access sales. The studio had previously considered releasing an unfinished version in 2026 but ultimately decided to prioritize a complete launch with its planned features available from day one.
The announcement marks a significant change in the game’s release strategy. Although Early Access would have allowed players to experience Bloody Hell Hotel sooner, the developer acknowledged that the initial version would have lacked certain features and the level of polish intended for the finished game.

In a message accompanying the announcement, game director Mr. Dev explained that the project had expanded considerably since its original reveal in 2022. Player feedback contributed to the addition of new mechanics and systems, increasing both the game’s scope and development requirements.
The project was initially financed using earnings from Unfold Games’ previous title, DARQ. Subsequent funding helped expand the development team and made a potential 2026 Early Access release feasible. However, the developer still faced the prospect of using Early Access revenue to finance the remaining development work.
Additional support from Gambit Digital has now removed that requirement, allowing the team to continue working toward a complete release in 2027.
Unfold Games confirmed that the launch version is planned to include all six vampire classes, 270 skills including upgrades, and the thrall system. The developer also intends to include other previously announced features and additional content that has not yet been publicly demonstrated.
Bloody Hell Hotel is a first-person simulation game in which players control a vampire who awakens after centuries of sleep to discover that their former mansion has fallen into disrepair. Rather than simply hunting humans, players must restore the estate and transform it into a functioning hotel.
Gameplay combines hotel management with exploration, combat, crafting and resource gathering. Players can renovate rooms, furnish their property, prepare food, grow crops and manage guests while exploring procedurally generated dungeons beneath the estate.
These underground areas contain monsters and resources needed to improve the hotel. The game also incorporates vampire abilities and progression systems, with the different vampire classes intended to offer additional customization options.
The newly released gameplay trailer provides another look at the project’s systems, including hotel furnishings and coffin upgrades. According to the developer, most of the footage consists of gameplay sequences, some of which have been accelerated to match the trailer’s audio.
The decision to bypass Early Access contrasts with the release plans of other upcoming PC titles, including Loftia's November 3 Steam Early Access launch. Bloody Hell Hotel will instead aim to deliver its planned content in a single full release rather than introduce features gradually during an Early Access period.
Unfold Games has not announced a specific release date beyond 2027. The confirmed launch plan covers PC through Steam, while the game’s official press materials also list consoles without specifying their release timing.
The developer says further development updates will follow as work continues toward version 1.0.
