Qloud Games has confirmed that cozy life-sim MMO Loftia will enter Steam Early Access on November 3, 2026, for PC and Mac. The game will cost $29.99 in the US, with a limited-time 17% launch discount reducing the price to $24.89. The date was announced during the PC Gaming Show: Tokyo Direct alongside a new release-date trailer.
Early Access is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EST on November 3. Qloud Games has also confirmed regional pricing, support for 14 interface languages and Steam Deck compatibility at launch. A Nintendo Switch version remains planned for later, although the studio has not announced a release date for it.
Loftia is built around a persistent multiplayer world spread across floating islands, combining farming, crafting, exploration, home decoration and social activities. Its solarpunk setting places an emphasis on sustainability, with farming systems including hydroponics, aquaponics and trellis growing. Players can also generate renewable energy from sources such as sunlight, wind and rain to support crafting and progression.

Unlike many MMOs, Loftia is not structured around combat or competition. Players instead work together on shared projects, complete quests, gather resources and explore areas containing platforming and puzzle-based challenges. Qloud Games describes the project as a social online space where players can build homes, meet other people and contribute to the wider community at their own pace.
Character customization and housing are also central to the experience. Players can personalize their avatars, decorate individual homes and adopt animal companions including capybaras and turtles. Exploration extends beyond the player’s home island, with NPCs, quests and cooperative activities spread throughout the world.
Qloud Games plans to use Early Access as an extended development period rather than treating November 3 as the game’s finished 1.0 release. The studio intends to continue adding content and responding to community feedback as development progresses. It has not announced how long Loftia will remain in Early Access or set a date for the full release.
The business model will require a one-time purchase for access to Loftia’s gameplay content. Qloud Games says it does not currently plan to sell paid gameplay expansions or DLC, with new gameplay content intended to remain available to owners of the base game. Optional cosmetic microtransactions and a season pass will also be available, but the studio says those purchases will not be required to access gameplay systems.
Loftia began as a small project in 2022 before attracting substantial crowdfunding support. Its Kickstarter campaign ran during August 2023 and raised $1,271,661 from 16,740 backers against an original $150,000 goal. The campaign helped turn the project from a small-scale concept into the larger persistent online game Qloud Games is preparing to release this year.
The November date also narrows Loftia’s previously announced fall 2026 Early Access window. With pricing, launch platforms, language support and Steam Deck compatibility now confirmed, Qloud Games has moved the project from an approximate seasonal target to a fixed public launch.
Loftia will enter Early Access on Steam for PC and Mac on November 3, 2026. The base version will cost $29.99, with the introductory 17% discount bringing it to $24.89 for a limited period.
