Drakong has opened pre-orders for the InfinaKore Fender Telecaster Edition, a modular rhythm-game controller that allows players to customize its body using 3D-printed components. The officially licensed Fender controller costs $129.99 and supports PC, Steam Deck, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo consoles, with shipping expected to begin on December 8, 2026.
The controller is designed for rhythm games including Stage Tour, Clone Hero, Fortnite Festival and several existing Guitar Hero and Rock Band titles. Drakong announced the pre-order availability on October 13, positioning the InfinaKore as a customizable alternative to conventional guitar controllers.
Its most distinctive feature is a modular construction that allows players to replace substantial parts of the controller without modifying its internal electronics. The guitar uses a rail system for interchangeable body sections, enabling owners to create their own designs using 3D modeling software and a compatible 3D printer.

Players can also replace the tuner head, strum bar, whammy head and upper fret buttons. Drakong encourages users to design or download alternative components, making it possible to change the controller’s appearance and physical layout without purchasing an entirely new guitar.
The InfinaKore combines Guitar Hero-style upper frets with Rock Band-style lower frets. Its upper fret buttons use hot-swappable low-profile Kailh Choc switches, allowing players to replace switches without soldering. The lower frets instead use silicone membrane switches.
Hall-effect technology is used for both the strum bar and whammy bar, while a dedicated power-up button and tilt functionality provide additional control options. The controller also includes a fret-style directional pad and remappable buttons.
The fret-style directional pad supports an alternative playing method that allows users to trigger notes through tapping rather than relying exclusively on the strum bar. This provides another input option for players who prefer a different approach to rhythm-game controls.
Connectivity is another significant feature. Drakong lists wired USB-C, Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity through an included dongle, although available connection methods vary by platform.
The manufacturer’s compatibility list includes Windows PCs, Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go, Asus ROG Ally, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Players should check the relevant connection requirements and game compatibility for their intended platform rather than assuming every supported game operates identically across all systems.
Drakong specifically lists Clone Hero, Stage Tour, Sound System, YARG and Fortnite Festival among compatible games. Its compatibility list also includes Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, Guitar Hero 5, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and Rock Band 1 through 4.
The broad device support also makes the controller relevant to portable gaming setups, particularly Windows handhelds and the Steam Deck's expanding library of compatible games. However, support for a device does not necessarily establish compatibility with every rhythm game available on that platform.
Additional hardware features include a foldable neck for easier storage, a manufacturer-rated battery life of up to 36 hours and a headphone jack that works in Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 modes. The controller comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty.
Drakong is also offering a pre-order bonus for purchases through its website. The package includes five additional clicky, hot-swappable upper fret switches, a switch puller and a guitar-pick-style strum attachment.
The InfinaKore Fender Telecaster Edition is listed at $129.99 in the United States, with announced European and UK prices of €129.99 and £119.99 respectively. Both Drakong and Hyperkin list an expected shipping date of December 8, 2026.
Although the controller’s modular components and compatibility features are documented by the manufacturer, its practical responsiveness, durability and performance across different games have not yet been independently established through hands-on testing.
