ArcheAge Chronicles will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on November 3, 2026. The upcoming open-world action MMORPG from South Korean developer XLGAMES now has a specific launch date following its recent appearance at Steam Next Fest. The announcement was made public on October 27, giving players a date for the game’s paid Early Access release.
The November 3 launch follows a free playable demo that ran from October 19 to October 26. ArcheAge Chronicles was also among the 20 most-played Steam Next Fest demos highlighted by Valve during the October event. Unlike that limited-time preview, the upcoming Early Access release will provide access to a broader selection of gameplay systems.
XLGAMES previously announced a $29.99 Early Access price for the United States. The game follows a buy-to-play model rather than requiring a monthly subscription. The developer has also stated that Early Access is expected to last approximately nine to 12 months, although that schedule could change depending on development progress and player feedback.

ArcheAge Chronicles takes place in Auroria, approximately 50 years after the events of the original ArcheAge. Previously known as ArcheAge 2, the game combines action-focused combat with open-world exploration, multiplayer activities and sandbox mechanics. Developed using Unreal Engine 5, it emphasizes combo-based battles, weapon-specific abilities and cooperative encounters alongside traditional MMORPG progression.
The initial Early Access version is planned to include three explorable regions: Diamond Shores, Gylden Ruins and Astron Plains. Players will be able to choose from four character classes, each initially offering two weapons. The broader gameplay experience includes story quests, dungeons, raids, PvP, crafting, trading, housing and guild activities.
These features represent an expansion beyond the Steam Next Fest demo, which focused primarily on selected content in Diamond Shores. The demo introduced players to the game’s combat and public PvP activities but excluded certain life-skill systems, including housing and trading. XLGAMES has confirmed that progress made during the demo will not transfer into Early Access.
The developer intends to expand the game throughout Early Access with additional regions, more character customization options, third weapons for the playable classes and improvements to combat balance and progression. Community feedback will help determine how these systems evolve before the full release.
ArcheAge Chronicles is also planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but the November 3 Early Access launch applies specifically to PC through Steam. Release dates for the console versions have not been announced.
The confirmed PC launch gives players a way to experience the game’s expanded MMORPG systems following the limited Steam Next Fest preview, while XLGAMES continues developing content toward its eventual full release.
