KLEVV has announced its CRAS V RGB PRIME DDR5 gaming memory lineup, introducing configurations with CAS latency as low as CL26 at 6000 MT/s and speeds reaching 8000 MT/s at CL38. Unveiled on October 28, 2026, the new memory kits support AMD EXPO and Intel XMP overclocking profiles, offer capacities up to 128GB, and are scheduled to become available in November.

The new series expands Essencore’s KLEVV memory portfolio with three speed options aimed at gaming PCs, overclocking enthusiasts and demanding desktop workloads. It also introduces AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency certification on selected configurations, alongside a redesigned black-and-gold heat spreader.

KLEVV has confirmed three configurations, each tested at an operating voltage of 1.4V.

The entry configuration runs at 6000 MT/s with CL26-36-36-76 timings, while the 6400 MT/s model features CL28-38-38-78 timings. The highest-speed option reaches 8000 MT/s with CL38-48-48-128 timings.

    The 6000 MT/s and 6400 MT/s versions are offered in 32GB (2x16GB), 64GB (2x32GB) and 128GB (2x64GB) dual-channel kits. The 8000 MT/s version is available in 32GB (2x16GB) and 48GB (2x24GB) configurations.

These specifications provide different options for buyers prioritizing memory latency, transfer rates or total capacity. The 6000 MT/s CL26 configuration has a theoretical first-word CAS latency of approximately 8.67 nanoseconds, compared with 8.75 nanoseconds for the 6400 MT/s CL28 kit and 9.5 nanoseconds for the 8000 MT/s CL38 kit.

However, CAS latency alone does not determine overall memory performance. Secondary timings, memory-controller behavior and platform configuration also affect real-world results.

AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency Support

One of the lineup’s notable additions is support for AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency (ULL), which uses optimized memory subtimings to reduce latency on compatible AMD systems.

KLEVV confirms that the 32GB kits running at 6000 MT/s CL26 and 6400 MT/s CL28 have received AMD EXPO Ultra Low Latency certification. These are the first products in KLEVV’s overclocking memory lineup to adopt the technology.

According to AMD testing referenced in KLEVV’s announcement, EXPO ULL-certified memory can deliver an average FPS improvement of approximately 4% compared with conventional AMD EXPO memory without ULL enabled on compatible systems.

That figure is based on AMD’s testing rather than independent benchmarks of the new KLEVV kits. Actual improvements will depend on the processor, motherboard, BIOS version, memory configuration and game being tested.

The complete CRAS V RGB PRIME series also includes both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles, allowing users to configure supported memory overclocking settings through their motherboard BIOS.

KLEVV specifically identifies compatibility with AMD Ryzen processors on the AM5 platform and Intel Core Ultra 200S Plus processors. Achieving the advertised speeds, particularly 8000 MT/s or high-capacity configurations, will depend on the capabilities of the processor’s memory controller, motherboard and BIOS.

    Black-and-Gold Design With 10-Layer PCB

Beyond the updated memory timings, KLEVV has redesigned the CRAS V RGB PRIME’s appearance with a black-and-gold finish.

The modules retain the aluminum heat spreader design associated with the existing CRAS V RGB series, adding a hard-anodized surface treatment intended to produce a glossy, lacquer-like appearance.

Internally, KLEVV says the modules use selected DRAM chips from a major South Korean manufacturer and a high-density 10-layer PCB designed to improve signal integrity during high-speed operation.

The company also highlights integrated power management circuitry and on-die ECC, although DDR5 on-die ECC should not be confused with the full end-to-end error protection provided by conventional ECC system memory.

For lighting customization, the kits support ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync and ASRock Polychrome Sync.

KLEVV says the memory has undergone qualified vendor list validation with four major motherboard manufacturers, although buyers should still verify support for their specific motherboard and memory configuration.

    November 2026 Availability and Pricing

KLEVV plans to release the CRAS V RGB PRIME DDR5 series beginning in November 2026 through online and physical retail channels.

All configurations will include a limited lifetime warranty. The company has not announced official pricing or detailed regional availability.

For gaming PC builders, the main distinction between these kits is the choice between tighter timings at 6000 MT/s and 6400 MT/s or higher bandwidth at 8000 MT/s. The availability of 128GB kits also gives users an option for memory-intensive workloads beyond typical gaming requirements.

Whether the new configurations deliver meaningful gaming performance improvements over existing DDR5 kits remains to be established through independent testing. Their overall value will also depend on retail pricing and compatibility with individual desktop platforms.
