Fortnite’s upcoming Predator: Badlands collaboration has reportedly been decrypted, revealing its in-game cosmetics ahead of an expected October 28, 2026, Item Shop release. Fortnite dataminer FireMonkey shared the development on October 28, while other community accounts have circulated previews of the crossover’s character outfit and accessories.
The collaboration centers on Dek, the young Yautja hunter introduced in the 2025 film Predator: Badlands. Unlike the original Predator outfit released through Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass, the new cosmetic is based on the film’s protagonist and is expected to be sold through the Item Shop.
Earlier information shared by Fortnite leakers, including Shiina, indicated that the Predator: Badlands cosmetic set would feature a Dek outfit, back bling, pickaxe and emote. The outfit has also been reported to include three selectable appearances: Base, Helmet and Masked. A plasma sword is reportedly included as the harvesting tool.

The October 28 disclosure adds to those earlier details by indicating that the collaboration’s encrypted assets have become accessible ahead of their planned release. However, the full contents of FireMonkey’s decrypted showcase could not be independently established, so the previously reported cosmetic lineup remains subject to confirmation.
Epic Games officially included Predator: Badlands among the collaborations announced for Fortnitemares 2026 on October 1. The event has introduced numerous horror-themed outfits and accessories throughout the month, including the Obsession crossover featuring Nikki and cosmetics based on other established horror franchises.
The Predator: Badlands collection is expected to arrive with the October 28 Item Shop reset at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, equivalent to midnight UTC on October 29. Fortnite community account FNBRunderground has also shared an early preview and identified that release window, although Epic Games has not publicly confirmed the exact shop timing.
Official V-Bucks prices for the individual cosmetics and any associated bundle have not yet been established. Players will need to wait for the Item Shop listings to confirm the final contents, available styles and purchase options.
The new Predator collaboration continues Fortnite’s October crossover schedule and marks a separate cosmetic release from the game’s original Predator Battle Pass outfit.
