Super Battle Golf will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on March 25, 2027, publisher Oro Interactive and developer Brimstone Games have announced. The multiplayer golf game, which originally launched for PC through Steam on February 19, 2026, is expanding to consoles with support for up to eight players and cross-platform multiplayer.
The release date was confirmed on October 28 alongside a new console trailer. The announcement establishes a specific launch date following an earlier delay. Brimstone Games initially planned to release the console versions during summer 2026 before postponing them to early 2027 in August.
Unlike traditional golf games, Super Battle Golf places every player on the course simultaneously rather than requiring competitors to take turns. Players must reach the hole while navigating obstacles, managing their shots, and interfering with opponents through various weapons and environmental interactions.

The game combines conventional golf mechanics with combat and vehicle-based disruption. Players can hit opponents with golf balls, collide with competitors using golf carts, deploy offensive and defensive items, and even target rivals with orbital lasers. Courses also feature hazards such as sand pits, lakes, vegetation, and mines, adding additional challenges beyond reaching the hole.
Super Battle Golf supports online multiplayer for up to eight participants, alongside point-based scoring for solo play. Its features include public and private servers, voice chat, golf carts that accommodate multiple players, and extensive character customization. Players can personalize their appearance with different hairstyles, hats, eyewear, facial expressions, golf clubs, dances, and emotes.
Cross-platform multiplayer is another significant feature of the upcoming console versions. Brimstone Games previously confirmed plans to support crossplay between PC and all console platforms, allowing players on different systems to compete together.
The developer has also been preparing the PC version for cross-platform connectivity. An open beta running from October 23 through November 2, 2026, is testing a networking transition from Steam’s existing backend to Epic Online Services. Brimstone Games explained that the change is intended to enable multiplayer connectivity between Steam players and the upcoming console releases without requiring users to create an Epic account.
The March 2027 release places Super Battle Golf among several PC games expanding to additional platforms, including Luma Island's upcoming PlayStation and Xbox versions with cross-platform multiplayer.
Super Battle Golf is currently available on PC through Steam. The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 editions are scheduled to arrive simultaneously on March 25, 2027. Console pricing has not yet been confirmed.
