Activision finally announced Call of Duty Black Ops 6 yesterday, marking their return to the Black Ops series. The announcement has generated significant hype, and fans worldwide are eager to learn more about the game, which is expected to release later this year.

However, many fans are curious whether Black Ops 6 will stay true to the highly polished earlier Black Ops games or be a bit disappointing like the last entry in the Black Ops series, Black Ops Cold War.

It seems that Black Ops 6 will be indeed a highly polished game. This is because a developer at Treyarch recently mentioned on Twitter that she has been playtesting the game for two years, and that the fans aren’t ready.

    She stated:

“i’ve been playtesting this one for 2 years! y’all aren’t ready.”

This could be the title the Black Ops series needs. This news is promising for fans, suggesting the game will launch with fewer issues, allowing players to enjoy it without the experience-ruining bugs seen in Black Ops Cold War.

While Black Ops Cold War was commercially successful, this was largely because it was a Call of Duty game rather than a strong entry in the franchise. Many criticized it for feeling rushed and not delivering a true Black Ops experience.

Black Ops 6 appears to have had a longer development time than usual for Call of Duty games, which is a good sign, suggesting a more polished and enjoyable experience for players.

Additionally, Treyarch is receiving assistance from Raven Software, which is handling the campaign, allowing Treyarch to focus on the multiplayer aspect of the game. This collaboration further supports the expectation of a highly polished game.

While we can’t say anything for sure about the game yet, it won’t be long until we see in-depth gameplay. Activision has announced that they will showcase gameplay during the Call of Duty Direct after the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9.

We were already excited about the Xbox Games Showcase, but now we have even more reason to look forward to the event as we get our first look at the next installment in the Call of Duty Black Ops series.

We hope the game lives up to the current expectations and becomes a strong addition to the Call of Duty Black Ops series.
