ZA/UM has released Zero Parades: Director’s Cut for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 3, 2026. The narrative espionage RPG is available for $39.99 on consoles, bringing the expanded edition of the game to all three platforms following its earlier PC release.
The launch marks Zero Parades’ first appearance on consoles. ZA/UM, the studio behind Disco Elysium, confirmed that all three versions include the complete Director’s Cut experience, incorporating approximately 40,000 words of additional writing, a new story encounter, expanded voice acting and numerous accessibility improvements.
The Xbox release also supports Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing players who purchase the game digitally through Microsoft’s ecosystem to access it on compatible Xbox consoles and Windows PCs without purchasing a separate copy. The feature includes Xbox cloud saves, enabling progress to carry between supported devices.

Zero Parades: Director’s Cut includes several features designed specifically for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
On PS5, the game supports DualSense adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and the controller’s built-in speaker. ZA/UM has also implemented 3D Audio and 4K output to enhance the presentation of Portofiro, the fictional city where the espionage story unfolds.
Nintendo Switch 2 players receive Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, touchscreen functionality and HD Rumble 2 support. The game can be played in TV, tabletop and handheld modes, with the additional input options designed to accommodate its dialogue-heavy gameplay and investigative interactions.
The Director’s Cut content was initially released on PC on October 1 as a free update for existing owners of Zero Parades: For Dead Spies, which originally launched in May 2026. All console versions include these additions from launch rather than requiring a separate upgrade.
Among the most substantial additions is approximately 40,000 words of new dialogue and narrative material. The expanded writing introduces further character interactions, additional opportunities to explore relationships and new ways to navigate the game’s branching situations.
A new Dramatic Encounter, Quisach Roundabout, places protagonist Hershel Wilk and her former associate Ramses inside a hijacked tuk-tuk as they attempt to escape a roundabout under unusual circumstances.
Backstage Mode provides an interactive look at the game’s development. Players can explore earlier versions of selected environments, examine cut material and hear development stories narrated by ZA/UM art director Kaspar Tamsalu.
Additional improvements include completed and revised English voice acting, new clothing, expanded NPC interactions, inventory sorting and controller remapping. Accessibility additions include a Photosensitivity Mode, while PC players also benefit from ultrawide display support for 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios.
Zero Parades follows Hershel Wilk, an intelligence operative known as CASCADE, as she attempts to rebuild her compromised network and navigate political intrigue in Portofiro. Its systems emphasize dialogue, psychological pressures, skill development and consequential decisions rather than traditional action-oriented combat.
The November 3 console release completes the previously announced rollout of Zero Parades: Director’s Cut across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2. The expanded edition remains available on PC through existing digital storefronts, while Xbox Play Anywhere provides an additional Windows PC purchasing option.
