Attaboy Interactive has announced that Wonderfall, its narrative-driven adventure game set in a collapsing version of 1920s Paris, will launch for PC via Steam on December 9, 2026. The newly confirmed release date narrows the game’s previously announced fourth-quarter 2026 launch window.
Wonderfall follows Léon, a young orphan with the ability to manipulate sand, as he explores a city being consumed by a mysterious phenomenon known as Entropy. Streets, monuments and entire districts are gradually disappearing beneath the sand, leaving players to uncover what caused the disaster and what remains beneath the ruins.
The third-person adventure combines exploration, environmental puzzles and traversal mechanics built around Léon’s sand-manipulation abilities. Players can reshape parts of the environment, create routes through obstructed areas and navigate dangerous locations while avoiding corrupted entities.

The game’s setting includes recognizable Parisian landmarks, with players exploring crumbling métro tunnels, the rooftops of Notre-Dame and areas surrounding Île de la Cité. According to the developer’s description, environmental changes reveal hidden pathways and previously inaccessible interiors, encouraging exploration as players piece together the city’s history.
Rather than focusing primarily on combat, Wonderfall emphasizes environmental storytelling and character-driven exploration. Its narrative features more than 2,000 lines of dialogue, alongside cinematic sequences and written records that provide additional context about Entropy and its effects on the city.
Attaboy Interactive estimates that the complete adventure will take approximately six to eight hours. The experience incorporates light combat, stealth and environmental challenges, with progression structured around exploring different locations and discovering new information.
Wonderfall is being developed and published by Attaboy Interactive, an independent studio based in Paris. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 and is currently announced for Windows PC, with no console release confirmed.
The Steam listing also outlines the game’s PC hardware requirements. Minimum specifications include an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 processor, 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 570 graphics card. Recommended hardware includes 16GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX 3050 or Radeon RX 5600 XT.
A playable demo is available through Steam ahead of the December 9 release. Attaboy Interactive has also released a new trailer accompanying the launch-date announcement, offering another look at the game’s collapsing Paris setting, sand-based traversal and environmental puzzles.
