Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor’s Knockout expansion will launch on November 17, 2026, for PC via Steam and Xbox. Publisher Ghost Ship Publishing and developer Funday Games confirmed the release date on October 27, announcing that PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and mobile versions will follow later.

The paid expansion introduces a melee-focused Brawler class, the Sandblasted Corridors biome, and a new Brood Harvest mission featuring the Dreadnought Empress boss. A free update for the base game will arrive alongside the DLC, although its full contents have not yet been revealed.

The Brawler is the expansion’s main addition, bringing a different approach to the survival auto-shooter’s combat and mining mechanics. Equipped with metal fists, the new dwarf specializes in close-range attacks and can smash through both enemies and cave walls.

The expansion’s Steam listing confirms that the Brawler will introduce 11 weapons. These weapons will also be accessible to existing character classes through the game’s tag system, expanding their available equipment beyond the new class.

Sandblasted Corridors adds another environment to Hoxxes IV, featuring resource-rich caverns, hostile vegetation, and shifting environmental hazards. Sand twisters can sweep across the landscape, while dangerous plants create additional obstacles during mining expeditions.

The new Brood Harvest mission introduces Kytoplasm, a resource collected from creatures known as Broodlings. Players must gather samples while progressing deeper into the caverns, with larger collections providing additional support during their runs.

Survivors who reach the final stage will encounter the Dreadnought Empress. The boss protects herself by spawning offspring that form a biological shield, forcing players to contend with her brood while attempting to reach the Empress herself.

Knockout was originally unveiled during the September 29, 2026, Big Break showcase, when Funday Games outlined its new class, biome, and mission without confirming a launch date. The October 27 announcement establishes November 17 as the release date for Steam and Xbox players.

The expansion is the second major DLC released following Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor’s version 1.0 launch. According to Ghost Ship Publishing, the game has sold more than two million copies since entering Early Access.

Players who own the base game will also receive a free update on November 17, independently of the paid expansion. Funday Games plans to reveal further details about the DLC and accompanying update ahead of release.

Knockout is currently available to wishlist on Steam. Pricing for the expansion has not yet been confirmed, and release dates for its PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and mobile versions remain unannounced.
