FaZe Vegas could be heading for a major roster overhaul despite winning the 2026 Call of Duty League Championship. Multiple reports now indicate that Zack “Drazah” Jordan is expected to leave the organization, while Thomas “Scrap” Ernst and Paco “HyDra” Rusiewiez are moving closer to joining the reigning champions. Mohammed “Alluka” Bindal is also reportedly set to return to the starting lineup alongside long-time FaZe player Chris “Simp” Lehr.
The latest report comes from Insider Gaming, citing information originally shared by Call of Duty insider TheGhostOfHope. According to that report, contract talks between Drazah and FaZe have reached a standstill, with the two-time world champion now exploring opportunities elsewhere for the Modern Warfare 4 season. FaZe Vegas has not formally announced Drazah’s departure or confirmed any incoming signings, so the moves remain unofficial.
Separate reporting from Breaking Point adds more weight to the proposed lineup. Its sources say FaZe is expected to move forward with Simp, Scrap, HyDra and Alluka, with Drazah leaving after the sides failed to reach a long-term agreement. Breaking Point had previously reported that FaZe was targeting Scrap and HyDra, making the latest update a continuation of negotiations that have been developing throughout the offseason.
The situation is particularly notable because FaZe is coming off a championship-winning season. The organization defeated OpTic Texas in the 2026 CDL Championship grand final, with Drazah playing alongside Simp, Abuzah and 04. Rather than simply running the championship roster back, FaZe now appears willing to rebuild around Simp while adding two of the most high-profile players available in the offseason market.
Scrap and HyDra spent the 2026 season together with Los Angeles Thieves, where they were joined by aBeZy and Nium. Both players have attracted interest from multiple organizations since the end of the season, with Gentle Mates, FaZe Vegas and other teams reportedly involved in negotiations at different stages. Earlier reports suggested FaZe had improved its offers in an attempt to convince the pair to join Simp.
Alluka’s role also appears to have changed significantly during the offseason. He spent time on loan with Riyadh Falcons during the 2026 season but remained under the FaZe umbrella, and previous reporting had already suggested the organization was considering promoting him into the starting lineup. If the current reports prove accurate, he would now occupy the fourth spot alongside Simp, Scrap and HyDra.
Drazah’s potential exit would end another chapter of his time with FaZe after helping the team secure its latest world championship. He previously won a Call of Duty world title in 2022 and would enter the market as one of the most accomplished available players if his departure becomes official. Breaking Point reports that several organizations are expected to show interest once he is formally available.
Speculation around Drazah and Scrap’s long-running public rivalry has also resurfaced because of the reported roster changes. However, neither player nor FaZe has stated that their history is the reason Drazah could leave, so linking the move directly to personal friction would go beyond the available reporting. The concrete development is that contract negotiations are reportedly unresolved while FaZe is simultaneously pursuing a roster that includes Scrap.
The reported changes come as Call of Duty esports prepares to move into the Modern Warfare 4 season. Activision is also restructuring the wider Call of Duty ecosystem ahead of the new game, including repacking Black Ops 7 and Warzone files ahead of Modern Warfare 4, but competitive roster moves are happening separately from those platform changes.
For now, FaZe Vegas has not announced its 2027 starting lineup. If the reports are accurate, however, the defending champions could enter the next CDL season with Simp, Scrap, HyDra and Alluka, while Drazah becomes one of the biggest names available during the remainder of rostermania.
