NVIDIA has announced 26 games coming to GeForce NOW throughout September 2026, led by NBA 2K27 with support for the company’s new DLSS 5 technology. Ten of those games are joining the cloud-gaming service this week, while the remainder are scheduled to roll out across the rest of the month. Other major additions include The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and CONTROL Resonant.

NBA 2K27 is the headline addition because it marks the official debut of DLSS 5 3D-Guided Neural Rendering. NVIDIA says the technology has been developed in collaboration with Visual Concepts and 2K to improve lighting and material detail, including how light interacts with skin, hair and facial geometry. DLSS 5 launches with NBA 2K27 on September 3 and is available to GeForce NOW Ultimate members when a session runs on an RTX 5080-powered cloud rig in NVIDIA-operated regions.

The feature is intended to provide more realistic rendering while keeping developers in control of how the effect is applied. NVIDIA has positioned 3D-Guided Neural Rendering as a deeper integration than a simple post-processing filter, using information from the game engine to influence the final image. The technology has already attracted considerable attention ahead of release, including experimental attempts by modders to run DLSS 5 in Control before official support became available.

GeForce NOW’s first September batch contains 10 games in total. Breathedge 2, Serious Sam: Shatterverse, Crimson Moon, The Blood of Dawnwalker, NBA 2K27, SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed and Onimusha: Way of the Sword are joined by How to Fish, Shelves and Sorcery: Tidy Up the Enchanted Shop and VHOLUME. Several are arriving on the service alongside or shortly after their wider PC releases.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is one of the larger new releases in the group. Rebel Wolves’ open-world action RPG follows Coen, whose abilities and available choices change depending on whether he is operating as a human during the day or embracing his vampiric powers at night. Ultimate subscribers can stream it using RTX 5080-class cloud hardware without downloading the game locally.

Capcom’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword is also scheduled to join GeForce NOW at launch. The new entry takes players to a supernatural version of Edo-period Kyoto, where Miyamoto Musashi uses the Oni Gauntlet and precision swordplay against Genma enemies. NVIDIA says Ultimate members will be able to stream the game across supported PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, televisions and browsers.

Another 16 titles are planned for later in September. These include Bus Simulator 27, Halloween: The Game, Honeycomb: The World Beyond and Wanderburg on September 8, followed by Shroom and Gloom, WARDOGS and Welcome to Elderfield on September 10. Active Matter, Aniimo, Train Sim World 7, The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410, CONTROL Resonant and Nivalis Nights are also scheduled during the month.

Mixtape, Neon White, Outer Wilds, Stray and What Remains of Edith Finch round out NVIDIA’s announced September lineup without specific dates listed in the announcement. NVIDIA notes that dates associated with new releases refer to their respective storefront launches, and GeForce NOW availability can vary as titles are onboarded throughout each week. That distinction means not every game will necessarily become streamable at the exact moment it releases elsewhere.

The September announcement follows an unusually large August expansion for the service. NVIDIA says 18 additional games joined GeForce NOW beyond the 26 originally announced for that month, including Baldur’s Gate 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and The Witcher 3 through GOG, alongside several Steam, Xbox and Epic Games Store additions. With another 26 games now scheduled for September, NVIDIA is continuing to expand both its cloud library and the number of releases arriving close to their traditional PC launch dates.

NBA 2K27 remains the technically significant addition because GeForce NOW gives players without an RTX 50 Series GPU another route to experience DLSS 5. Ultimate members using compatible RTX 5080-powered cloud sessions can access the neural-rendering feature across supported devices while NVIDIA handles the rendering remotely. The broader September lineup, however, spans new releases and established games rather than being built around a single graphics feature.
