Hazard Levels will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 12, giving Wales Interactive’s co-op survival horror game a full release date after several months in Steam Early Access. The game first entered Early Access on April 30, with the studio using that period to expand its systems and gather player feedback ahead of the console versions. Xbox listings now also show the November 12 date for the Series X|S release.
Developed and published by Wales Interactive, Hazard Levels sends one to four players through unstable interdimensional rifts in search of unusual ingredients for a hidden brewing operation beneath a British pub. Each expedition uses procedurally generated layouts, biomes, hazards and escalating threats, meaning teams cannot rely on an identical route between runs. Proximity voice chat is also built into the multiplayer experience, adding another layer of coordination as groups move deeper into each rift.
Combat is deliberately unconventional for a game presented partly as a first-person shooter. Wales Interactive describes Hazard Levels as a gunless survival horror experience, with players instead using tools such as the Gravity Gauntlet to grab, carry and throw objects. Rift-grown ingredients can be recovered and sold at stations, while hostile creatures have different behaviors and weaknesses that players are expected to learn rather than simply overpower with conventional weapons.

Exploration is structured around finding dimensional anomalies using the Rift Scanner before deploying a Rift Stabilising Device to open portals. Successful runs feed back into the Fox Hole Arms, the traditional-looking pub that serves as the game’s headquarters and conceals The Family’s research facility underneath. Between expeditions, players can customize their appearance, review mission information and experiment with perk-granting drinks brewed from materials recovered inside the rifts.
Those cocktails can produce beneficial abilities or more chaotic effects, fitting the game’s mix of horror and dark comedy. The Early Access version has already received multiple content drops and balance adjustments since April, including facility changes, new enemies and additional gameplay systems. The transition to version 1.0 follows the same broader route as other 2026 Early Access projects, including Worship’s move from Steam Early Access to a full console release earlier in November.
Hazard Levels also supports both solo play and groups of up to four players, though its systems are clearly built around cooperative expeditions. The console release expands that audience beyond the existing Steam community, with Xbox listings identifying cross-platform play among the supported features. That should make the November launch substantially more significant than a routine Early Access update, particularly for a game whose central systems rely on multiplayer coordination.
The PS5 version supports DualSense vibration, Remote Play and online multiplayer for up to four players. On Xbox Series X|S, the current listing indicates a download size of roughly 17.9GB, although final installation requirements can still change before release. Wales Interactive has not positioned Hazard Levels as a conventional narrative horror title, instead emphasizing repeatable runs, unpredictable environments and the progression loop surrounding the Fox Hole Arms.
The November 12 date puts Hazard Levels’ full release a little over six months after its PC Early Access debut. It also places the game among a growing number of smaller multiplayer projects expanding simultaneously onto PS5 and Xbox Series rather than remaining PC-only through development. Similar cross-platform moves have become increasingly common, with titles such as Luma Island also expanding to PS5 and Xbox Series with cross-platform multiplayer.
For Wales Interactive, the launch represents the next step for a project from the team behind Sker Ritual, moving from an actively developed Steam release into a wider console and PC launch. Hazard Levels will leave Early Access and arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 12, while the existing PC version will transition to its full release on the same date.
