Microsoft and The Coalition have published the complete achievement list for Gears of War: E-Day ahead of its October 6, 2026 launch. The game includes 55 achievements worth a combined 1,000 Gamerscore, covering the campaign, Horde Siege, Versus multiplayer, collectibles and long-term progression. Xbox released the list on September 9, giving completionists almost a month to see what will be required.

The campaign achievements confirm that E-Day is structured across five acts, although Microsoft has deliberately avoided revealing major story details in their descriptions. Several achievements simply state that they unlock during a particular act, reducing the risk of spoiling major encounters or plot developments. Completing every campaign act on any difficulty unlocks “Remember Kalona,” while finishing the entire story on Insane difficulty awards “Today We Are Canceling the Apocalypse.”

Players looking for a full campaign completion will have considerably more to do than reach the ending. “Side Piece” requires every Secondary Objective to be completed, “Relax. I’m the Map.” asks players to discover every Hard Case, and “Memories From E-Day” is tied to finding all collectibles. Another achievement, “Quartermaster,” requires every Supply Cache item in the campaign, while completing the full story cooperatively awards “You’re My Brother.”

The most demanding campaign challenge is “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” worth 75 Gamerscore. It requires completing the campaign on Insane difficulty, finishing every side mission and finding all hidden items. The campaign’s prominent place in the list fits with The Coalition’s decision to tell a prequel centered on Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago after Gears of War 6 was considered before development shifted to E-Day.

Horde Siege accounts for another substantial portion of the achievement list. Players will need to survive 50 Horde Siege missions on Infantry difficulty or higher, complete 100 Secondary Objectives and successfully finish 25 Invasion Events. Other challenges involve specific equipment, including maintaining Adrenaline with the Injector, pulsing 1,000 enemies using the Pulse Drone and reviving 250 downed squadmates with the Stim Vaporizer.

Class progression also matters. “Siege Specialist” requires players to reach maximum level with all four Horde Siege classes: Assault, Breacher, Marksman and Medic. Other achievements reward unlocking every Horde Siege weapon modification, spending 150,000 Energy at Supply Caches and extracting on Allfather difficulty without losing a squadmate.

Versus multiplayer has fewer achievement requirements, but one stands out immediately. “HEY NOW, YOU’RE AN ALL STAR…” demands 25,000 kills in Versus and is worth 25 Gamerscore. Horde Siege has an equivalent long-term grind through “I WILL MASSACRE YOU,” which requires 50,000 enemy kills, while “Got Your Wings” asks players to complete the entire Re-Up progression and claim their final wings.

The ultimate completion challenge is “Dead Serious,” worth 85 Gamerscore. Unlocking it requires 100% campaign completion on Insane difficulty, 25,000 Versus kills, maximum Player Level and maximum level across all four Horde Siege classes. Together with “The Lucky Ones Died on E-Day,” which is awarded for earning every other achievement, it makes a full completion considerably more demanding than simply finishing the campaign.

The official reveal differs from several recent pre-release achievement lists that have appeared through backend discoveries or leaks, including Ace Combat 8’s surfaced achievement list. Microsoft itself has also been expanding its wider achievement ecosystem, including plans to add achievements to selected original Xbox titles.

Gears of War: E-Day launches October 6 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, cloud and Steam, with Xbox Play Anywhere support and availability through Game Pass Ultimate. Its 55-achievement list suggests a relatively approachable campaign completion surrounded by much heavier Horde Siege, Versus and progression requirements for anyone aiming for the full 1,000 Gamerscore.
