Fortnite files reportedly contain several unreleased crossover Sprites connected to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Pac-Man, Persona 5, Crash Bandicoot and The Witcher. Dataminer HYPEX shared the latest findings on September 16, including planned abilities for Adam Smasher, Blinky, Morgana and Crash Bandicoot. Some of the Sprites remain unfinished or encrypted, meaning Epic Games could change their abilities, delay them to a later update or decide not to release them at all.
Cyberpunk appears to have the largest unreleased group, with Adam Smasher, Rebecca and an Arasaka-themed Sprite reportedly present in the files. HYPEX says Adam Smasher’s planned ability periodically launches rockets while the player is shooting, while abilities for Rebecca and Arasaka are currently unknown. FireMonkey separately found the same three Cyberpunk Sprites, reporting that Adam Smasher supports variants while Rebecca and Arasaka currently do not.
The findings add another layer to Fortnite’s rapidly expanding Cyberpunk crossover. Adam Smasher is also connected to a leaked boss NPC encounter, with datamined material indicating that defeating him may eventually drop his Sprite. FireMonkey cautioned that some of the Cyberpunk Sprite content is still encrypted or unfinished and could arrive in a future update rather than immediately.

Pac-Man’s Blinky also appears to have a gameplay-focused Sprite ability. According to the datamined values shared by HYPEX, taking damage would cloak the player for three seconds at Level 1, increasing through 3.5, four and 4.5 seconds before reaching five seconds at Level 5. The functionality matches Fortnite’s broader approach to Sprites, which gain stronger effects as players level them during matches.
Persona 5’s Morgana is reportedly built around healing instead. Its ability increases the effectiveness of healing items by 15% at Level 1, rising to 30%, 50%, 75% and finally 100% at Level 5. That would make a fully upgraded Morgana Sprite particularly significant for healing-heavy loadouts, although those percentages remain datamined values rather than finalized statistics announced by Epic.
Crash Bandicoot receives a more active ability based directly on his familiar spin attack. The leaked Sprite allows players to jump again while airborne to trigger a whirlwind that damages and knocks back nearby opponents, with reported damage scaling between roughly five and 10 as the Sprite levels. The cooldown is also expected to improve through progression, giving the companion a movement and disruption role rather than a passive statistical bonus.
A Witcher Sprite is listed among the unreleased crossover content as well, although no ability has been identified. Earlier datamining had already referenced a Witcher Sprite alongside Crash Bandicoot, but the latest information still does not establish whether it represents Geralt, another character or a more general design inspired by the series. Epic has not announced new Witcher gameplay content for the current season.
The discoveries fit Chapter 7 Season 4: Override’s larger focus on Sprites and gaming collaborations. Epic officially confirmed Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Pac-Man, Persona 5 Royal and Crash Bandicoot among the gaming properties appearing during the season, while describing Sprites as a major part of the updated Battle Royale structure. The season allows players to collect, level and retain Sprites while different companions provide abilities that can alter combat, movement, loot or survivability.
Not every Sprite found in Fortnite’s files necessarily reaches the live game in its original form. Datamined names, abilities and numerical values can be placeholders, and FireMonkey specifically noted that some of the Cyberpunk content may be intended for a later build or could ultimately be scrapped. Rebecca, Arasaka and The Witcher currently have no known abilities, leaving those entries particularly incomplete.
For now, the files point to a much broader crossover Sprite lineup than the companions currently available in Battle Royale. Adam Smasher’s rockets, Blinky’s cloak, Morgana’s healing boost and Crash Bandicoot’s whirlwind provide the clearest indication of how Epic may turn recognizable crossover characters into gameplay modifiers, but none should be treated as final until Epic activates or formally announces them.
