Shueisha Games has announced Nintendo Switch 2 editions of Urban Myth Dissolution Center and Schrödinger’s Call, bringing new features and visual improvements to both narrative adventure games. The releases were revealed during the October 28, 2026, Indie World Showcase, with both titles launching on October 29 in Japan.
Urban Myth Dissolution Center Nintendo Switch 2 Edition introduces Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, allowing players to navigate investigation sequences using the controllers’ mouse functionality. The updated version also adds a gallery where players can revisit artwork and other in-game graphics.
The Switch 2 edition costs ¥2,080 in Japan, while existing Nintendo Switch owners can purchase an upgrade pass for ¥100. Shueisha Games confirmed that the upgrade option also applies to owners of the physical Switch release. The upgrade is listed at $0.99 in the US.

Originally released in February 2025, Urban Myth Dissolution Center is a mystery adventure developed by Hakababunko. Players follow Azami Fukurai as she investigates supernatural incidents involving cursed objects, strange phenomena, and urban legends. The game is also available on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Schrödinger’s Call receives a different set of improvements on Nintendo Switch 2. Shueisha Games confirmed that the new edition increases the frame rate from 30 FPS to 60 FPS and upgrades gameplay visuals to Full HD resolution, excluding movie sequences.
The Switch 2 version of Schrödinger’s Call is priced at ¥2,480 in Japan. Existing Switch owners can purchase the dedicated Switch 2 version for ¥100. Unlike the upgrade pass offered for Urban Myth Dissolution Center, Schrödinger’s Call is distributed as a separate Switch 2 application rather than an upgrade to the original software.
Developed by Acrobatic Chirimenjako, Schrödinger’s Call originally launched on Nintendo Switch and PC on May 28, 2026. The visual novel follows Mary, an amnesiac protagonist who listens to people’s final conversations in a world approaching its end.
Both announcements formed part of the October 28 Nintendo Indie World Showcase, which featured announcements for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The presentation also included Slime Rancher 2's upcoming Switch 2 release in January 2027.
Shueisha Games additionally confirmed plans for a Steam bundle combining Urban Myth Dissolution Center and Schrödinger’s Call. Pricing and availability details for the bundle have not yet been announced.
