The critically acclaimed turn-based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is expanding its physical offerings with two new collector’s editions arriving in November 2025. The game, developed by Sandfall Interactive and published by Kepler Interactive, launched on April 24 and quickly became one of the biggest breakout hits of the year, selling over 5 million units globally and earning high praise from reviewers.
The two editions—named the Lumière and Mirror editions—aim to cater to collectors and fans alike. The Lumière Edition, a reprint of a GameStop-exclusive variant, will launch exclusively for PS5 on November 11, priced at $69.99.
Its bonus items include a hardcover 48-page art book dubbed “The Expeditioner’s Journal,” a steelbook case featuring characters Maëlle, Gustave and the Paintress, and 14 bonus in-game outfits in addition to the base game’s physical copy.
Meanwhile, the Mirror Edition will arrive slightly later—on November 27—priced at $59.99, and will support both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This Amazon-exclusive bundle(PS5 & Xbox Series X|S) features a steelbook with Verso and Alicia artwork, a special tuck box and three collectible trading cards, but omits the art book and DLC outfits included in the Lumière Edition.
While these editions offer tangible extras, they also underline the game’s success and ongoing support. Sandfall recently announced a free “thank you” update to mark the five-million-unit milestone, which will add a new location, late-game challenges, and additional costumes. With these collector’s editions and update plans in motion, the team appears focused on engaging both new players and longtime fans.
Collectors should take note of the timing and platforms: the Lumière Edition is currently PS5-only and arrives earlier, while the more affordable Mirror Edition is available on both PlayStation and Xbox but launches later and includes fewer extras.
Pre-orders are live now through GameStop and Amazon respectively, so interested buyers will want to secure their copies early. With the game’s strong reputation—score averages above 90 on major review aggregates—and a booming player base, these editions could become sought-after.
In an era when physical collector’s editions are becoming rarer, Sandfall and Kepler are offering a rare chance for fans to own something special tied to a standout 2025 title.
