Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed that BLEACH Mirrors High will launch on October 28, 2026, for iOS and Android. The free-to-play mobile action game features an original storyline set after the Thousand-Year Blood War, customizable Soul Reapers and a combat system built around three-character squads.
The publisher announced the release date during its October 27 special broadcast and released a new opening animation produced by PIERROT FILMS. Players can pre-download the game ahead of launch, although Bandai Namco says gameplay will become available only after launch maintenance concludes. The company will communicate the maintenance completion time through the game’s official social media account.
BLEACH Mirrors High is developed in collaboration with original BLEACH creator Tite Kubo, who designed new characters appearing in the game. Its story begins after the events of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, following a mysterious soul awakening in Karakura Town and beginning a new journey as a Soul Reaper.

Players create their own protagonist rather than exclusively controlling established characters from the anime. The customization system allows them to adjust their Soul Reaper’s appearance and personalize their Zanpakutō, including its visual design. Familiar characters such as Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki also appear alongside the newly created cast, with returning Japanese voice actors from the anime.
Combat combines real-time action with card-based mechanics. Players assemble squads of three characters and combine attack cards to perform different abilities and coordinated attacks. The SOUL DRIVE system enables powerful combination techniques, adding another tactical element to encounters.
The game is free to download but includes optional in-app purchases, including randomized items. Its App Store listing also describes a monthly Premium Pass subscription, making it important to distinguish the free base game from its paid features.
Alongside the release announcement, Bandai Namco unveiled a dedicated opening animation featuring the song “CRITICAL” by suisoh. PIERROT FILMS, which also worked on the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War anime, handled the animation. Takahiro Yamada contributed to the song’s arrangement.
Pre-registration is available through the App Store and Google Play, with pre-downloads opening before the scheduled release. The October 28 launch date is specified in UTC, so local availability may vary by time zone, and players will need to wait for the announced maintenance period to finish before entering the game.
