Fortnite’s long-rumored Persona 5 collaboration could move closer to an official reveal on September 25, according to several established Fortnite leakers. FireMonkey and ShiinaBR have both shared information attributed to leaker ScrambledFaz indicating that the first Persona teaser is expected on that date. Epic Games has not announced the Fortnite crossover or confirmed when a teaser will be released, so the September 25 timing remains unofficial.
The date is notable because Persona 5 is already officially scheduled to arrive in Rocket League on September 25. Psyonix has announced a Persona 5 limited-time event running from September 25 through October 12, featuring themed challenge rewards and a Mona Car Bundle. That gives Epic’s wider ecosystem a confirmed Persona launch point, although it does not by itself prove Fortnite will unveil its own crossover on the same day.
Fortnite leaker HYPEX has separately said the Persona collaboration is expected to arrive around September 25, adding another source pointing toward the same general window. According to the leak, the Fortnite side of the crossover is expected to include Joker and Ann Takamaki, both with additional styles and emotes, alongside Morgana-themed content. None of those cosmetics have yet been formally detailed by Epic Games.
Previous datamines have already provided stronger evidence that Persona content exists inside Fortnite’s current files. Persona 5 assets uncovered in Fortnite included a Morgana Sprite alongside other crossover material, establishing that Persona-related content had been added to the game rather than existing only as an external rumor. Those findings arrived during Chapter 7 Season 4, which has leaned heavily into gaming collaborations.
Additional leaked details suggest Morgana could appear in several forms across the crossover. Reports have pointed to a Morgana Sidekick, Kicks and an SUV based on the character’s familiar van form, while Joker and Ann are expected to serve as the primary character outfits. Leakers have also mentioned a Persona-themed Match Override that would reportedly siphon 10 percent of damage dealt, although its exact implementation and availability have not been confirmed.
The Fortnite collaboration also appears increasingly connected to Epic’s wider Persona campaign across its games. Rocket League previously teased Persona 5 before Psyonix formally outlined its event, while the confirmed Persona 5 Rocket League event begins on September 25. Its rewards include a Joker Topper, Morgana Player Banner, Persona 5 Royal-themed decals, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts Universal Decal and other cosmetics.
That overlap makes September 25 a plausible point for additional Persona announcements, but the distinction between confirmed and leaked information remains important. Rocket League’s event date and content are official, while the Fortnite teaser date, character lineup and associated gameplay additions currently come from leakers and datamined material. Epic Games has not published a Fortnite Persona 5 announcement as of September 20.
If the reported schedule is accurate, the September 25 teaser should provide the first official look at how Persona 5 will be represented inside Fortnite and clarify which of the leaked cosmetics and gameplay elements are actually releasing. Until then, the crossover itself is strongly supported by datamined assets and multiple established leakers, but its final content and launch timing remain subject to change.
