A new Fortnite leak points to another Street Fighter crossover arriving on October 10, this time tied specifically to the 2026 live-action movie. Fortnite dataminer FireMonkey shared the date while crediting Wensoing for the discovery, and HYPEX separately said a new Chun-Li Outfit is expected on October 10. Epic Games has not announced the collaboration, so the release date and cosmetic details should remain treated as unconfirmed until the company reveals them or the content appears in-game.
Additional information circulating from Fortnite dataminers indicates that the movie crossover contains one male and one female Outfit. HYPEX said the characters are likely Ken and Chun-Li, although that identification has not been fully confirmed from the available data, and noted that the female character uses flowing cloth physics that would fit Chun-Li’s costume. The same leak points to both characters receiving a Back Bling and Pickaxe, alongside an emote, spray and LEGO styles.
The male character’s cosmetics reportedly include a Back Bling with a Hadouken effect, while both the skin and associated items are said to feature a style identified internally as “Unite.” Those details provide more evidence that this is a newly produced Street Fighter set rather than simply another return of Fortnite’s existing Capcom cosmetics. However, without Epic publishing the Item Shop lineup or revealing the models itself, the final character identities, names and presentation could still differ from the current interpretation of the files.

Fortnite already has a substantial history with Street Fighter. Ryu and Chun-Li originally joined the game in 2021, followed later by Cammy, Guile, Sakura and Blanka, establishing Street Fighter as one of Fortnite’s earlier major Gaming Legends collaborations. The newly leaked content appears to be separate from those game-based Outfits and instead connected to the upcoming film, potentially giving Fortnite new versions of characters who have appeared in the game before.
That distinction is important because the new Street Fighter film uses live-action interpretations of Capcom’s cast. Paramount lists Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Noah Centineo as Ken Masters and Andrew Koji as Ryu, with the movie scheduled to open on October 16, 2026. An October 10 Fortnite release would therefore put the leaked crossover six days ahead of the film’s theatrical debut, fitting the timing of a broader promotional campaign around its launch.
The reported collaboration would also continue a busy run of licensed Fortnite content. Recent leaks have pointed to crossovers ranging from Persona 5 character cosmetics to expanded Cyberpunk: Edgerunners content, with dataminers frequently surfacing encrypted assets and backend references before Epic formally announces them. As always, those discoveries can establish that content is being prepared without guaranteeing that every inferred detail or release date will survive unchanged.
There is also a notable difference between this leak and the existing Chun-Li Outfit. Fortnite’s original Chun-Li cosmetic remains part of the Gaming Legends Series and has returned to the Item Shop repeatedly over the years, including during 2026. If the leaked October 10 Outfit is indeed based on Callina Liang’s movie version of Chun-Li, it would represent a separate interpretation rather than simply another shop rotation for the older skin.
For now, the strongest details are the reported October 10 date, the apparent Street Fighter movie branding and evidence for two new character sets with additional cosmetics. Epic Games has yet to confirm any of those elements publicly. With the Street Fighter movie itself officially scheduled for October 16, though, the leaked timing places the crossover directly inside the film’s launch window and gives the report a clear promotional context.
