Raiden Fighters Remix Collection appears to be heading to PC after Steam achievement data surfaced for the previously console-only compilation. The listing is associated with Steam App ID 4942400 and has been indexed by achievement-tracking services under the Raiden Fighters Remix Collection name. MOSS and H2 Interactive have not announced a Steam version, making the backend appearance the clearest indication yet that a PC release is being prepared.
The discovery needs one important distinction: Raiden Fighters Remix Collection itself is not an unannounced game. MOSS released the collection on February 26, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and those remain the platforms listed on the developer’s official website. What has not been announced is a PC edition, so the newly surfaced Steam data points to a platform expansion rather than the existence of an entirely new compilation.
SteamDB also tracks App ID 4942400 as an unknown application. The app has been connected with Steam packages dating back to July 2026, although the database does not currently expose enough public metadata to display a store name or release date. Combined with the achievement service identifying the same Steam application as Raiden Fighters Remix Collection, the evidence strongly suggests the console release has been entered into Valve’s backend ahead of a possible Steam launch.
The existing collection brings together Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2 and Raiden Fighters Jet, the three vertically scrolling arcade shooters originally developed by Seibu Kaihatsu between 1996 and 1998. Both Japanese and international versions of each game are included, effectively providing six variants within the package. MOSS also added modern conveniences such as Practice Mode, rapid-fire configuration, quick restart functionality, vertical-screen support and display filters designed to reproduce the look of an arcade CRT.
Music received a significant overhaul as well. Raiden Fighters Remix Collection includes 30 newly remixed tracks based on stage and boss themes from the trilogy, with music contributed by Soshi Hosoi, Kazuhiro Tsurukubo and Yuki Arai. Players can unlock those tracks for the built-in sound player and assign different music to stages, while the original soundtrack remains available.
The surfaced achievement data is less important for spoilers than it is for confirming the apparent Steam build. The PlayStation 5 edition already has a 43-trophy list covering milestones such as clearing each game’s Arcade Mode, completing stages without taking damage and finishing runs without using continues. Because those objectives are already public on an existing platform, the appearance of Steam achievements does not expose substantial unrevealed content in the way achievement leaks for unreleased games can.
Instead, the platform itself is the news. The official Raiden Fighters Remix Collection site currently names only Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, while the North American Nintendo and PlayStation storefronts likewise list the February console release without a PC version. A Steam application carrying the collection’s achievement data therefore represents a platform that MOSS has not publicly confirmed.
The discovery emerged during the same large-scale Steam achievement exposure affecting numerous unreleased games and ports, which temporarily made backend achievement information accessible for titles that were not yet public. That incident has revealed both entirely unannounced projects and previously announced games seemingly heading to additional platforms, making Raiden Fighters Remix Collection one of the latter cases.
There is already precedent for the Raiden Fighters trilogy appearing on Steam. Raiden Legacy – Steam Edition includes Raiden, Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2 and Raiden Fighters Jet, although it is a separate compilation originally released on PC years ago and lacks the new features and remixed presentation found in MOSS’s 2026 release. A native Steam version of Raiden Fighters Remix Collection would therefore give PC players access to the newer edition rather than simply reintroducing the underlying arcade games.
No release date, pricing or formal PC announcement has surfaced alongside the Steam data, and backend applications can change or remain unreleased. Until MOSS or H2 Interactive confirms the port, Raiden Fighters Remix Collection for PC should therefore be treated as an unannounced Steam release supported by backend evidence rather than a finalized product announcement.
