Monica Denizen claims Craig Burnatowski has recorded material for future Resident Evil Requiem DLC and Resident Evil Veronica, adding to an earlier report linking the actor to the upcoming remake.

New alleged details about Capcom’s future Resident Evil plans have emerged from Monica Denizen, the former partner of voice actor Craig Burnatowski, who plays Albert Wesker in the Resident Evil 4 remake and Zeno in Resident Evil Requiem. Burnatowski, who plays Zeno in Resident Evil Requiem, is now being linked to future DLC for the game, which has already seen strong launch performance on PS5.

In a series of social-media posts, Denizen claimed that Burnatowski will appear in upcoming Resident Evil Requiem DLC and has also worked on Resident Evil Veronica. Neither Burnatowski nor Capcom has confirmed her claims about the DLC. The claim adds to a growing list of leaks and reports surrounding Resident Evil Requiem.

Responding to discussion surrounding Burnatowski on August 22, Denizen wrote that he is “going to be in the RE9 DLC too.” When another user questioned how she could know about an appearance that had not previously been reported, she replied that she no longer cared about keeping the information private.

The claim is notable because, unlike Burnatowski’s involvement in Resident Evil Veronica, his apparent participation in future Requiem content had not been part of the recent casting reports.

Denizen Claims Burnatowski Worked on Resident Evil Veronica

Denizen also claimed that Burnatowski is involved in Resident Evil Veronica and suggested she has knowledge of production details surrounding the project.

Her statements follow an MP1st report published earlier this month that named Burnatowski as Albert Wesker in the upcoming remake. The same report listed Stephanie Panisello as Claire Redfield, Jeff Schine as Chris Redfield and Matthew Castle as Steve Burnside, alongside several other actors. Capcom has not officially confirmed those casting details.

    Resident Evil Requiem DLC leak

Unlike some older reports surrounding the game, Resident Evil Veronica itself is no longer a rumoured project. Capcom formally announced the title in June 2026 and confirmed that it is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.

Denizen additionally claimed that Wesker repeatedly calls out Steve during recorded material, potentially referring to Steve Burnside.

That would fit the characters present in the original Code: Veronica storyline, but it should not be considered confirmation of how closely the remake will reproduce individual scenes or story beats.

What About the Resident Evil 0 Remake?

Denizen was less definitive when discussing the long-rumoured remake of Resident Evil 0.

According to the posts circulating alongside her comments, she said she did not know whether Burnatowski was involved in the project, adding only that he “probably will” be.

That distinction is important because there is currently no direct claim from Denizen that Burnatowski has recorded material for Resident Evil 0.

A recent MP1st casting report separately linked Hallea Jones to Rebecca Chambers and Jon McLaren to Billy Coen. Burnatowski was described as expected to return as Wesker rather than definitively confirmed by the source.

Capcom has not officially announced a Resident Evil 0 remake.

Claims Emerge Amid Abuse Allegations Against Burnatowski

The leaks arrive amid an ongoing public dispute between Denizen and Burnatowski.

Denizen publicly accused Burnatowski in July of being emotionally abusive and manipulative during their relationship and alleged that he physically injured her on two occasions during intimacy. Burnatowski has denied the allegations, describing them as unfounded and saying he was shocked by the claims.

Fantasy & Magic Con subsequently cancelled Burnatowski’s scheduled appearance at its July 2026 event.

In an official statement dated July 10, the convention said it made the decision after reviewing reports that had appeared publicly and concluded that cancelling his participation was the appropriate course of action under the circumstances. The organizer also refunded purchased autograph and photo-op tickets.

No determination regarding Denizen’s allegations has been established in the sources reviewed by Techtroduce, and Burnatowski disputes them.

Resident Evil Requiem DLC Leak Is the Biggest New Claim

From a gaming perspective, the most significant new information is Denizen’s assertion that Burnatowski has a role in future Resident Evil Requiem DLC.

His reported return as Wesker in Resident Evil Veronica already had support from an independent casting report before Denizen made her comments. Her statement concerning Requiem DLC, however, appears to provide a new potential detail about Capcom’s plans for the game.

For now, it remains a claim from someone who says she had access to Burnatowski’s private production information rather than an announcement from Capcom.

Until Capcom or another independent source corroborates the details, Burnatowski’s involvement in future Resident Evil Requiem DLC should therefore be treated as an unconfirmed leak.
