Fortnite Treasure Hunters Week 2 introduces Lil Uzi Vert as a new Battle Royale boss on November 8, 2026, bringing a unique SMG, a collectible Sprite and additional treasure-hunting content to Crossbones Isle. Epic Games has confirmed the Stronghold encounter and its rewards, while a newly circulated trailer also highlights upcoming One Piece content involving Buggy the Clown, a battleship and explosive weapons.
The update follows the November 1 launch of Fortnite's Treasure Hunters mini-season, which introduced an 80-player island, pirate-themed locations and crossover abilities inspired by One Piece. The second week expands the experience with another celebrity captain, fresh equipment and new opportunities to collect rare Sprites.
Epic Games confirmed through its official Fortnite Communities announcement that Lil Uzi Vert takes over the Stronghold on Sunday, November 8. Players who defeat the boss can obtain Lil Uzi Vert’s Lil’ SMG and the Lil’ Uzi Vert Jr. Sprite.

The Lil’ SMG has a distinctive firing mechanic that increases its rate of fire the longer players hold down the trigger. It also provides a movement speed boost, making it useful for aggressive engagements and repositioning during combat.
The Lil’ Uzi Vert Jr. Sprite introduces a separate defensive ability. According to Epic, restoring shields while using the Sprite triggers a Chug Splash effect, providing an additional shield-restoration benefit.
Epic has also confirmed that Lil’ Uzi Vert Jr. Sprite variants receive increased drop rates for 24 hours beginning November 8 at 9 AM ET (2 PM UTC). The limited-time bonus gives players an opportunity to collect different versions of the new Sprite.
Beyond the boss encounter, Cursed Sprites begin appearing in the wild, and a second mysterious Map Fragment becomes available. These additions continue the season’s collectible-focused progression, with Map Fragments gradually appearing across successive Captain’s Day events.
The new rewards build on the Captain's Day weapon and Sprite rotation, which began with A$AP Rocky’s appearance aboard his battleship during the first week.
Buggy the Clown is another major part of the Treasure Hunters rollout. Epic’s official season announcement confirms that Buggy and the Megalodon will arrive on Crossbones Isle during Week 2, alongside Lil Uzi Vert and Cuddle Team Leader’s takeover of a fort.
Fortnite news account SpushFNBR has shared details from a Week 2 trailer featuring Buggy’s ship, a location identified as Brutal Beachhead and weapons described as Buggy Bombs. The account also describes the ship as a modified version of the Megalodon from Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.
According to the account, the Buggy-themed additions are planned for the November 12 update. However, Epic’s published announcements do not independently establish that exact release date for Buggy Bombs or Brutal Beachhead, so those details remain reported rather than officially confirmed.
Epic has separately listed November 12 as another Captain’s Day and confirmed that Buggy’s cosmetic outfit will arrive in the Item Shop on November 13. The distinction matters because a character’s Item Shop release does not necessarily coincide with the introduction of their associated gameplay content.
Buggy’s arrival also extends the season’s One Piece crossover abilities and locations, which already include Arlong Park, Windmill Village and combat powers associated with characters such as Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro.
The November 8 Stronghold encounter is officially scheduled to begin at 9 AM ET (2 PM UTC), with the increased Lil’ Uzi Vert Jr. Sprite drop rates lasting until November 9 at the same time. Players can also pursue the new Map Fragment and Cursed Sprites as the second week of Treasure Hunters gets underway.
