Capcom has officially announced a 40-minute digital presentation ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2026, with the Capcom Spotlight scheduled for September 16 at 7:00 AM PT, 10:00 AM ET and 11:00 PM JST. The publisher says the broadcast will deliver its latest game news immediately before Tokyo Game Show opens in Japan, while its accompanying TGS lineup includes several of Capcom’s biggest upcoming releases.

The presentation will be available with subtitles in 13 languages. Capcom has not yet provided a complete breakdown of which games will receive announcements during the broadcast, saying further details will be shared closer to the event. Its confirmed Tokyo Game Show exhibition lineup, however, gives a strong indication of the projects the company is currently prioritizing.

Six games are confirmed for Capcom’s main TGS 2026 lineup: Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, PRAGMATA and Street Fighter 6. These titles will form the core of Capcom’s presence at the event, which runs from September 17 through September 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance will be particularly prominent. Capcom has confirmed that the 2027 expansion will receive its first worldwide playable demo at Tokyo Game Show, giving attendees an opportunity to try its new content and combat systems. The expansion introduces a new region, additional monsters and new mechanics, including the Boost Bracer and new actions for the game’s weapon types.

Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen is another major title in the lineup. The newly announced expansion is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC, and Capcom’s TGS appearance will provide one of its first major public showcases following the reveal. Mega Man: Dual Override is also scheduled to appear, continuing Capcom’s renewed activity around the Mega Man franchise with a new entry targeting both current and previous-generation platforms.

PRAGMATA will return as part of the exhibition after years of development and multiple public appearances, while Onimusha: Way of the Sword will also be featured. Street Fighter 6 completes the main six-game lineup, giving Capcom a mixture of major expansions, new releases and ongoing live-service support across several of its largest franchises.

Capcom will have additional attractions beyond those six games. Monster Hunter Outlanders is scheduled to appear through a partner exhibition, while the company’s booth will also include a Resident Evil-themed shooting range created with Tokyo Marui. A separate exhibition tied to the upcoming Street Fighter movie is also planned.

The Spotlight itself takes place one day before the public exhibition begins, allowing Capcom to set the stage for its TGS presence before attendees reach the show floor. While the company’s announced exhibition lineup is substantial, Capcom has not said that every title listed for the booth will necessarily receive significant time during the 40-minute broadcast. Likewise, there is currently no confirmation that the presentation will contain unannounced games.

That distinction is important because Capcom has several other high-profile projects in development that are not part of the announced main TGS lineup. The company has so far only promised its latest game information for the Spotlight, meaning speculation about surprise Resident Evil, Devil May Cry or other franchise announcements remains unconfirmed.

Tokyo Game Show 2026 begins September 17 and runs through September 21. Capcom’s 40-minute Spotlight will air on September 16, with more information about the program expected before the broadcast. With Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, PRAGMATA, Onimusha and Street Fighter 6 all confirmed for Capcom’s broader TGS presence, the publisher will have one of its largest current game lineups on display in Tokyo.
