Fortnite is reportedly adding two Kingdom Hearts songs as Jam Tracks on September 17, expanding this week’s crossover beyond skins, cosmetics and the Kingdom Key. Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR says “The Other Promise” and “Dearly Beloved” will both arrive on Thursday. Epic Games has not yet publicly announced the Jam Tracks, so their inclusion should currently be treated as leaked information.

Both tracks are established pieces from the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack rather than newly produced Fortnite music. “Dearly Beloved” has appeared in multiple forms throughout the series and is one of its most recognizable recurring compositions, while “The Other Promise” is closely associated with Roxas and appears on the official Kingdom Hearts II soundtrack. Square Enix’s official music catalogue includes both pieces across Kingdom Hearts soundtrack and anniversary releases.

Their reported arrival lines up directly with the larger Kingdom Hearts crossover launching in Fortnite on September 17. Sora, Riku, Kairi and Roxas are all expected to appear as Outfits, making the choice of “The Other Promise” particularly appropriate given Roxas’ role in Kingdom Hearts II. The crossover has grown considerably since Epic initially began teasing Sora’s arrival.

Fortnite Jam Tracks can be performed on Festival Main Stage and used for loops in Jam Stage, while owned tracks can also function in other parts of Fortnite. Epic currently allows Jam Tracks to be used as lobby music, and players can access portions of them through the Jam Track player during supported experiences. That means the two Kingdom Hearts additions would extend beyond Fortnite Festival itself if they release in the standard Jam Track format.

The music reveal would also give the gaming-focused Chapter 7 Season 4 one of its more direct soundtrack integrations. Override has featured a long list of gaming collaborations, but not every crossover has received corresponding Festival content. Kingdom Hearts getting two recognizable pieces would therefore broaden the collaboration beyond character cosmetics and Battle Royale items.

Epic has already officially confirmed that Kingdom Hearts content is coming during Override. Its season announcement specifically named Kingdom Hearts among the franchises receiving Item Shop content and also confirmed that the Kingdom Key would appear later in the season. More recent crossover footage has shown Sora , Riku, Kairi and Roxas together in Fortnite, giving players the clearest look yet at the cosmetic lineup.

The crossover also appears to include gameplay functionality for the Kingdom Key. Footage from the promotional trailer shows Sora apparently casting Thundaga with the Keyblade, suggesting the weapon will be more than a standard harvesting tool. Epic has not yet detailed the full mechanics of the Kingdom Key or how long it will remain available.

For Fortnite Festival players, “Dearly Beloved” and “The Other Promise” would be unusual additions because both are primarily instrumental compositions rather than conventional vocal tracks. Fortnite Festival already supports instrumental Jam Tracks, with the game displaying unavailable parts when a song does not contain material for a particular instrument or vocal chart. How Epic charts the two Kingdom Hearts songs across Lead, Bass, Drums, Vocals and Pro instruments has not yet been revealed.

Pricing is also currently unknown. Many standalone Fortnite Jam Tracks are sold for 500 V-Bucks, but Epic has not published Item Shop listings for either Kingdom Hearts song at the time of writing. It is also unclear whether either track will be included in a larger crossover bundle.

The wider Kingdom Hearts x Fortnite rollout is expected on September 17, with Item Shop availability likely beginning at the normal shop reset. If ShiinaBR’s information is accurate, “Dearly Beloved” and “The Other Promise” will arrive alongside that rollout, giving the crossover a dedicated musical component in addition to its four character skins and gameplay content.
