Capcom has released updated sales figures for its major 2026 games, confirming that Resident Evil Requiem has sold 8.51 million copies worldwide. Pragmata has reached 2.73 million units, while Onimusha: Way of the Sword has sold 1.78 million copies following its September launch.
The figures come from Capcom’s financial results presentation published on October 27, covering the six months ending September 30, 2026. The company’s latest reporting also shows continued sales growth for older Resident Evil games, with several established titles outperforming newer releases during the period.
Resident Evil Requiem remains Capcom’s biggest new release of 2026 by lifetime sales. The survival horror game launched in February and had already reached 8 million copies by the end of June. Its latest total represents approximately 510,000 additional copies sold during the July-to-September quarter.

Capcom’s ongoing support for the game includes upcoming Resident Evil Requiem DLC exploring Oswell E. Spencer's story, although the company has not connected those future content plans to its reported sales figures.
Pragmata, Capcom’s new science-fiction action-adventure game, has accumulated 2.73 million sales since its April release. The title had surpassed 2.5 million copies by June 30, meaning approximately 230,000 additional units were sold during the following three months.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword recorded 1.78 million copies sold following its September 4 release. Capcom highlighted the game’s performance in its financial presentation, noting that it surpassed 1.7 million sales and received two awards at Gamescom 2026.
Beyond its new releases, Capcom’s existing game catalog continues to contribute substantial sales. Resident Evil 4, the 2023 remake, sold 3.54 million copies during the six-month reporting period, bringing its lifetime total to 17.15 million units. It ranked first among the individual titles listed in Capcom’s first-half sales presentation.
Resident Evil 2 added 2.06 million units during the same period, reaching 20.38 million lifetime sales. Resident Evil 3 sold another 1.56 million copies, increasing its total to 14.93 million.
Other major catalog performers included Devil May Cry 5, which sold 1.83 million units during the first half and reached 14.78 million lifetime sales. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard accumulated 18.87 million sales, while Resident Evil Village reached 16.27 million.
Monster Hunter: World also continued selling, recording 1.17 million units during the six-month period and reaching a reported lifetime total of 30.83 million units, including the editions and additional platforms covered by Capcom’s figures.
The publisher attributed its earnings growth partly to continued demand for Resident Evil and other established franchises. Capcom’s Digital Contents business generated 85.1 billion yen in net sales during the first half, an increase of 71% compared with the corresponding period a year earlier.
Across its consumer games business, Capcom sold approximately 36.86 million units during the six months ending September 30. Catalog games accounted for 32.95 million of those sales, illustrating how older releases remain a major contributor to the publisher’s business even as Pragmata and Onimusha establish their own sales records.
The latest figures place Resident Evil Requiem comfortably ahead of Capcom’s other major 2026 releases, while the continued performance of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 demonstrates the lasting commercial strength of the company’s remake catalog.
