Warhorse Studios, the Czech developer behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, has confirmed that it was targeted by a cyberattack involving unauthorized access to its internal systems and company data. The studio is working with cybersecurity specialists and relevant authorities to investigate the breach and determine its full impact.
In an official statement made public on October 27, 2026, Warhorse acknowledged that attackers had gained access to company systems and data. The developer confirmed that its investigation remains ongoing but did not specify when the intrusion occurred, how the attackers gained access, or what information was compromised.
Martin Frývaldský, CEO of Warhorse Studios, described the cyberattack as a serious incident affecting the company and potentially others connected to it.

“This is a serious incident for Warhorse Studios and everyone affected,” Frývaldský said in the company’s statement.
He explained that the studio’s immediate priorities are securing its infrastructure, establishing the full extent of the breach, and protecting its employees, partners, and community. Warhorse has committed resources to its response and intends to provide additional information once the findings can be responsibly verified.
The company has not disclosed whether the attackers obtained employee information, confidential development materials, source code, or other sensitive files. It has also not confirmed whether any data was copied, published, or used in an extortion attempt.
Although Warhorse acknowledged unauthorized access to company data, the precise categories of affected information remain unknown. There is currently no confirmed indication that Kingdom Come: Deliverance player accounts, save files, or online services have been compromised.
The incident affects a prominent European game developer whose Kingdom Come: Deliverance franchise has found success across PC and consoles. Warhorse Studios, based in Prague and part of PLAION, developed both the original medieval role-playing game and its sequel, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
The developer has not announced any changes to its games, release schedules, or ongoing development activities as a result of the attack. Whether the security incident has disrupted internal production systems or future projects remains unclear.
Warhorse also stated that it would not conduct interviews or provide additional comments while the investigation continues. The company plans to share further verified information when available.
For now, the confirmed impact is limited to unauthorized access to Warhorse Studios’ systems and company data. The full scope of the breach, the identity of those responsible, and any potential consequences for employees, partners, or players have yet to be established.
