Fortnite’s Mega Man collaboration is reportedly heading to the Item Shop on September 10 at 8 PM ET, according to newly surfaced data shared by dataminer FireMonkey. The leak also provides the clearest breakdown yet of the crossover’s shop package, listing three outfits, two back blings, three pickaxes, one emote and the Rush Sidekick. Epic Games has not yet formally announced the Item Shop date, so the September 10 timing should still be treated as datamined information.

The three outfits are Mega Man (Dual Override), Mega Man X and Zero, all of which have now appeared through decrypted Fortnite files and in-game footage. Their identities were established when the complete Mega Man cosmetic set decrypted, resolving earlier uncertainty over which characters would fill the three encrypted outfit slots. Mega Man and X are separate outfits rather than edit styles of the same cosmetic, while Zero completes the playable lineup.

FireMonkey’s latest information says the bundle also includes LEGO Fortnite variants for the three characters. Mega Man, X and Zero have already appeared in decrypted LEGO forms, further confirming that each is being treated as an individual outfit within the set. Their standard Battle Royale versions also include multiple cosmetic variants, with alternate Mega Man, X and Zero styles reportedly covering options such as Atomic Fire, Black Zero and versions without cel shading.

The accessory lineup is similarly substantial. Current decrypted data identifies the E-Tank Power Pack and Z-Saber as back blings, while the harvesting tools include Buster Cannon Blades, Buster Cannon Flame Sword and another Z-Saber item. The crossover also contains the Mega Buster Flex emote and Rush, Mega Man’s robotic dog, as a Sidekick rather than a conventional back bling.

Rush has already been shown functioning in-game following the decryption of his files. Additional footage revealed a Rush Jet Sidekick emote in which the character transforms into his familiar flying configuration, extending the companion beyond a static cosmetic presence. The original encrypted data had identified Rush weeks before his model became visible, but the latest decryption has now exposed the complete Fortnite implementation.

The September 10 date represents a change from earlier expectations surrounding the collaboration. Datamined scheduling had previously pointed toward September 8, leading to speculation that the Item Shop cosmetics could arrive alongside the Mega Man competitive event. The newer FireMonkey data now specifically lists September 10 at 8 PM ET, making that the stronger current indication unless Epic changes the schedule or publishes a different date.

Mega Man content is already active elsewhere in Fortnite. Epic’s competitive site officially lists the Override Series: Mega Man Cup for September 8, with Battle Royale, Zero Build and Mobile variants available across regions. Competitive rewards include Mega Man-themed cosmetics, while five eliminations with the Mega Buster award the Override Buster Blast Spray and eight tournament points can unlock a Mega Man 8-Bit emoji.

Placement rewards can also include crossover cosmetics, depending on the event and region. The Mega Man Cup reward structure includes items such as outfits, harvesting tools and back blings for qualifying players, providing a competitive route to some content before the expected shop rollout. Epic’s official competition pages confirm the tournament itself, unlike the September 10 Item Shop timing, which currently comes from datamined material.

The crossover forms part of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, where Mega Man has already appeared through promotional material and the Mega Buster weapon. The season is built around gaming collaborations, with franchises including Sonic the Hedgehog, Persona, Kingdom Hearts, Crash Bandicoot and Tetris appearing across gameplay, cosmetics and seasonal events.

If FireMonkey’s latest scheduling data remains unchanged, Mega Man, Mega Man X, Zero and Rush will reach the Fortnite Item Shop on September 10 at 8 PM ET as part of a larger bundle containing the three outfits, two back blings, three pickaxes and an emote. Pricing has not been confirmed in the surfaced information, and Epic has yet to publish an official shop announcement.
